Top 10+ Dog-Friendly Campgrounds near Marysvale, UT

Fairly private for a camp ground, at least where we parked, next to the dog park. Great spot within walking distance of restaurants, clean, dog friendly

This is a super family-friendly campground and with so many "camping" options! There are full hook-up RV sites, cabins, and pre-assembled tent structures in various sizes. Amenities include: Swimming pool, playground, dog park, laundry, restrooms with showers, and Wi-Fi. It's a little close to the main street of the town, but that makes it easy to find!

Henrie's Hitch n Post is a nice campground. They are currently updating the park with concrete pads, more spaces, and new amenities. The laundry room is clean. The bathrooms and showers are new! They hold a weekly bon fire, and offer morning coffee (sometimes with baked treats!) There is a dog park, horseshoe and cornhole courts. The beginning of June is the town's quilt walk. The end of June is the Balloon Festival. We will be back!!!

No concrete pads, just gravel with grass and picnic tables between. The landscaping looks a little overgrown. The fencing around the small dog park isn’t secure.

Office and laundry facilities are closed on Sundays. Bathrooms are small but clean with one toilet stall and two shower stalls each.

Full hookups and pull through spaces. Wi-Fi is available but we didn’t test it.

It’s a very quiet place. Fillmore has a Best Western with a golf course, a few gas stations and a Carls Jr.

Enjoyed our stay here. Clean, full hook ups, nicely landscaped, with a nice dog run for the pets. Close to the National Park.

Little Cottonwood Canyon is fun. Very beautiful. You can hike, fish in the river.When we were there the other night we saw a Moose which was way fun. Lots of deer as well. Pets are not allowed.

Camped here 1 night. The 4.5 mile road off the highway is very good though dusty. Creek is lovely. Sites vary in their condition but flat tent or van spots are uncommon. ORV traffic and locals passing by about every hour. WeBoost 3 Verizon bars. My retriever who is used to bears refused to go out in the dark, probably Mt Lions about so watch small pets closely.

This location has clean bathrooms and showers centrally located on the grounds. So it doesn’t matter if you’re in a tent or RV, it’s a close distance for everyone. They are also pet friendly with trash cans and doggie bags placed around the site. Our tent area included water/electric, a picnic table, and fire pit/grill. We really enjoyed our little grass area and the quiet surroundings!

We happened upon this campground and luckily there was one spot left - site 1. We caught a beautiful sunset against the red cliffs as we set up camp. Our tent was close to a little stream that was really pleasant to listen to as we fell asleep. The flush toilets were very clean and well maintained. And we had a camp cat show up! Never had a feral cat join us for a cook out before. We loved this site and would definitely recommend it.

Really love the vibe of this place. There is plenty of space for tent camping although they offer bus stays if you prefer. Reservations are required in advance. There are bathrooms with showers and toilets all running water.

Only complaints. There are some cats that meow, loudly. All night and the garbage man comes at 5 am Wednesday morning and it's quite noisy. All in all a good stay.

General: A mix of FHU (most pull-thru but a few back-in), two tent areas, and three cabins. 

Site Quality: All sites are level and gravel. Some sites have a brick patio that the picnic table sits on. As would be expected in an RV park, there is minimal separation between sites, however, when we were there on a weeknight in November, it was only about 25% full so it was not a problem. 

Bath/Shower House: As we’ve come to expect in KOAs, the bathrooms and showers were very clean with soap and paper towels. 

Activities/Amenities: The pool was closed for the season when we were there. There is a nice play structure, a basketball court, and a few other outdoor games. Amenities include a pool table, laundry facility ($2 each for wash and dry), fish cleaning station, pet area, and a small store open during business hours (9-5). The dishwashing sink appeared to be closed, perhaps for the season. There is free coffee in the morning. 

This was just an overnight for us as we continued to head home after three months on the road so we were not looking for activities or amenities but appreciated that it was quiet.

This campground is perfectly tucked away in the hills near Kanosh UT. About 15 mins down a back road from the freeway (I-15). It is small but large open areas for kids and/or dogs to run and play. It’s quiet and clean. There are two bathrooms within a short walk from every site. The creek runs near the sites and it’s the perfect sound to lull you to sleep. You can reserve a site ahead of time on the website or walk in and pay at the site as long as there is no reservations. Very simple. There is NO cell service so if you are coming from a long distance be sure to make sure there are availability’s before you drive into the site. If you’re ever taking that route through Utah and need a place to crash I would recommend this to anyone!

We are late fall

Campers and found staff to be friendly. We were one of three campers.  The public restrooms were exceptionally clean. We had a pull through site with electricity for $25. Lots of on leash dog walking available. We felt safe at this public campground for late night dog walking. We travel in a 22 foot TT. Dump station available. Water was still on in the park.

Car camped with my dog. Lots of level sites. Ate breakfast with the cows😁

Be sure to read the map, the spots are adequately marked, but there is very little grass except what is in the tent sites. There are plenty of dog bag and garbage cans. Very quiet place out of the city.

Clean, well maintained, shady sites.  There is a nice dog run on the premises as well as grass areas throughout.  Clean facilities and friendly staff.  

A perfect stay for us while we visiting National Parks in the area.

The Road is OPEN as of 4/6.

I loved this campsite! Found a secluded spot farther back on the road surrounded by trees and a beautiful view of distant mountains. Perfect place to get the dog some exercise too. Quiet and close to Bryce Canyon entrance.

Very clean lots of shade trees which are fabulous as it’s 88° today. Everybody gets an escort to their site with the golf cart, there is a school next-door with a great soccer field to run the kids. A few of the deluxe sites now have a private, permanent fenced yards for dogs, which includes waste bags and a little trash can! Nice addition! 

This is a great little park with beautiful views and lots to do in the area. There is a restaurant on site, small park for the kids, basketball court and dog walk area. The sites are very close no privacy. There are two styles ld cabins. They sell wood and propane by the tank they do not fill tanks.

This is a great campground that can be accessed by Vehicle or you can be adventurous and hike the 4 miles in on the Rim Trial. We chose to hike in and tent camp. The hike itself is a beautiful, easy hike. We went in the early summer with temperatures in the mid 70's You cross over skull creek and some other water run off. The campground itself is in the pines, with a beautiful view of the canyon overlook with Flaming Gorge lake at the bottom. The sites were clean with picnic tables & fire pits. The restroom facilities (pit toilets) were also clean. There is a visitor center within walking distance and Red Canyon Lodge is also within 1/2 mile of the campground and offers a small general store, cabins and a nice restaurant. My only complaint was that they did not have the water tuned on. After hiking in (with dogs) we were in need of water. Luckily the lodge was close by.. so 40 dollars later, we had enough water for the dogs, dinner and hiking out.
