Lot's of places to pur your rig. Roads are manageable dirt. Amazing views of the red rock bluffs in the distance. East access to Torrey and Capital Reef NP.

Beautiful vistas, lots of options to park. It seems to be popular, with it being right outside of Capitol Reef. Road noise is present but not bothersome. Easy access.

this is a nice spot with lots of space close to capitol reef national park. showed up on a monday afternoon and had a lot of choice of spot, made it up just fine in a subaru legacy. lots of trailers, so a bit noisy as a tent camper. in addition, the ground is sooo rocky we had a hard time finding a spot we could stake.

Easy to get to in my van. Plenty of open space. Close to town, but not too close. Clear view of sky for solar and Starlink. 2 bars of AT&T.

Nice quiet, dispersed campsite. Several people here, but people are relatively quiet and spread out. And there are a lot of beautiful ripples in the rocks.

Wonderful scenery just outside CRNP. Easy access off the highway but very quiet. If I return to the are I'll definitely stay here again.

Come early to get a good spot. The views are great. There is enough room between sites to not be cramped. It was windy when I was here.

It’s a beautiful spot easily accessible to any car. When we arrived it was super windy but died down by 6:30 pm for the rest of the night.

We did have to level our van and a couple of other visitors moved to find a level spot.

This is a great spot not far at all from the Park. You’re up on a beautiful bluff but we won’t stay again due to relentless wind. Zero wind in the park just a 15 min drive away but the wind here was just terrible. I feel sorry for the tent campers! We were in our Airstream Basecamp. Excellent spot if you are just going to sleep there but if you want to enjoy your site at all, this is a no if there’s going to be wind. FYI hardly any wind in the forecast. But the bluff…. Anyway, It was Memorial Day weekend, not crowded, safe leaving our Basecamp locked for the days to explore the Park. Clean, no glass or leftover trash at our site.

Absolutely amazing views of Capitol Reef here as well as Boulder Mountain. Plenty of great spots with fire rings for all types of vehicles. We brought our 26ft Class C Motorhome here although we were towing a dolly and our drop hitch did get stuck on a steep part and we had to dig it out. But, we just got a little overzealous with the clearance. There are plenty of spots that are easily accessible.

We pulled in tonight after leaving Bryce. We stopped and got wood at the gas station .8 miles up the road. 8.50$ a bundle. The road is a little bumpy in some spots but our 27’rv did just fine, we just drove slow. Very popular but this place has many spots. Very windy!!!! I would be cautious of tent placement. 100% recommend the views and quiet are amazing.

Great area. I will definitely stop by if in the area again. BreakOff 1 provides quiet and privacy. Do not turn south from the main entry area (just past the cattle guard) with a trailer more than 30'. There is a dip and climb that could cause you problems. We went all the way to the end of the break off with our 30' 826KBS; a bit of work to turn her around when leaving but worth it.

Awesome sites, not all are level but you have to look for the flat ones. Stunning views. It’s also 12 minutes from capitol reef. Local restaurant has good food, gas station has water fill

Easy drive in, wide, dirt roads. Must be at least a hundred different sites. Some are group sites with multiple fire pits all close together and there are several other roads leading to many other spots. Not much shading due to the short trees and shrubbery. Temps when I stayed were 60⁰s during the day and low 20⁰s at night. No dumping, no connections, this is off grid camping/boondocking.

This is a very popular area that's conveniently situated between Torrey and Capitol Reef National Park. Most people tend to herd together towards the front, but you can find a little bit more privacy if you drive a little further back down the bumpy road (but even then, don't be surprised if someone pulls up next to you by the next morning, as was our experience one night.) Great cell service.

A really great and quiet place. Easy access but can be muddy after rain or snow days ! Great cell service I was in 5G 2 bars so a really good connection.

Great place to stay close to Torrey, Utah, and Capitol Reef NP. There are lots of places to choose from with some spots with make shift fire rings. Great views of the Boulder Mountains, Thousands Lake Mountains, and Capitol Reef in the distance. There are no restrooms, water or electricity. Close to Torrey where you can find the essentials.

Stayed a couple of nights ago, lots of sites all with fire rings. Easy turn off right near Capitol Reef NP which is wicked convenient. There are no facilities here so keep that in mind. Was extremely windy and had intermittent rain/thunderstorms passing through (that don’t show up on weather/radar) so something to consider during this season if you’re tenting it like us. The ground is also majorly rock so staking tents for the wind is very difficult. All that being said the views are amazing & hearing coyotes off in the distance gave some cool ambiance

It’s been very difficult in our July Utah trip to find a place where we can comfortably sleep in the back of our jeep but the breeze in this area was perfection. The view is to die for. Would 1000000 percent recommend this if you have an off road vehicle!

These sites were awesome! Super close to Capitol Reef and amazing views all around. Easily accessible and not too crowded when we visited. The only downside for us was the wind was crazy strong so we ended up having to sleep in our car. It’s pretty wide open so it’s hard to escape the wind if you’re tent camping or cooking outside. Other than that we loved it!
