Thoroughly enjoyed

Great sites for all types of camping. Good facilities. Beautiful location with lots to do, fishing obviously, tons off riding on close by trails.

This is Our Happy Place!

We visited Otter Creek in August 2021 and returned in September 2021. Yes, returned to the same spot! After 7 days in one spot we decided to stay another week so the Ranger Lance Eliason set us up in a wonderful Beach Site with nice shade. The fishing is awesome with beautiful rainbows. We will be back. We love it there so much we wish we lived there. Everything you need and more as far as accommodations go. WiFi is sporadic but the quietness from spam callers is also nice. The price is compatible to other parks around the area except sewer, you dump when you leave.

Needs more water!

Loved the campground at Otter Creek-nice shaded spots along the beach. We were in oartisl shade overlooking dried up lake. Quiet. No internet!!! Was able to hook onto Otter Creek Marina next door. If you don’t like to fish this is not the place for you

Good stay

Campsites are fairly close together but not a crowded campground. Good base camp to do Capitol Reef and Bryce. Nice to be able to fish so close to campsite. Nice bathrooms! The small general store in Antimony is a fun stop. Propane available nearby. Nice cafe in Koosharem!

Otter creek reservoir free camping

This was such a fun place! I was happy to find beach camping and for free! There was a fire pit made already and we had our own little area for the beach. There’s no toilets close by, it is primitive camping. There’s RV space but no hookups. Our dogs loved the area! The water is nice and clean. The beach area wasn’t maintained by any authorities so we found some broken glass from previous people who stayed in the area which was cleaned up so we had no injuries. Please camp responsibly in areas like this! :)

Nice place to stop on the way somewhere

Campsites are right near one another, but they are rarely packed full so we had space between sites. Otter creek is beautiful and great for long term fishermen’s Trips. There are huge bathrooms and showers, and a store! Loved our stay. Slightly noisy by the road but nighttime was not loud at all.
