Park manager is not friendly to guests

I do not recommend staying here. I was bothered by park manager repeatedly. When I stayed here manager was nosy. He only cares about his reputation and how his park looks, he does not like kids and sent out messages to the people staying here recommending them to call Child Protective services if they see any kids playing outside. Bathrooms were frequently dirty, especially on Saturday and Sunday. I am never staying here again. I stayed with my wife and four children. This park is NOT family friendly. We would get mass text messages detailing various different authorities to call to complain about things as simple as children playing outside. The policing by the manager and Clear Lake Shores/Kemah was very excessive. Police would stop at people's homes at midnight to ask for directions to calls where guests should not be bothered by police absent involvement in the call. I saw this happen multiple times. A friend of mine who used to stay out in the park alleged she was assaulted and reported it and retaliation/harassment twice. The manager did not want to assist her by making the man leave or provide video evidence to have the man prosecuted for making it appear he was going to ram her ebike coming up the driveway. There is a convicted sex offender in the park. There were recently criminals staying in the cabins on and off as they do not do background checks. I do not reside in the park anymore. Lee is only concerned about maintaining a resort-style image and his own reputation and ignored significant guest safety concerns, allowing people to be touched against their will and harassed with slurs and name calling. Someone should not be called a B or F by another guest and then that harassment is ignored by management. Management should be addressing those situations. They need to address the steel rebar and unsafe wood hand railing on the docks before some gets seriously injured by the metal rods sticking out of the shore line. A child is going to fall off that pier and there will be a lawsuit to follow if that happens. One guests was even firing a projectile weapon out of his cabin door. The person later disappeared. I observed it when I was taking trash out. The park is not lgbtq friendly. If you take concerns about someone calling you by homophobic slurs to the park manager, the park manager will not get involved or assist you in preventing further anti-gay or lesbian insults being spoken against you by other ill spirited guests. I saw this happen to someone. It was mostly Republicans and rich people passing through. Edit: after I left the manager asked another guest that is staying there where I live. The manager appears to be trying to get at me personally since I have left 2 reviews for his park staying my experience.

      Beachside RV Park

      Walking to the Beach

We stayed at Beachside RV Park& Self-Storage at Crystal Beach because we wanted to be as close to Crystal Beach as possible without actually camping on the sand, and it turned out to be a great choice. Oh yeah and Margaritaville wasn't in our budget. One of the best parts was how easy it was to get to the beach. We walked down several times, and we also drove our beach cart from the park straight to the beach, which made hauling coolers, chairs, and fishing gear incredibly convenient. Being that close meant we could come and go throughout the day without any hassle. The park itself was clean, quiet, and well maintained. The concrete pads were a nice touch after spending time on the beach, and the Starlink Wi-Fi worked great when we needed it. Check-in was simple, and management made everything easy from start to finish. If you're looking for an affordable RV park that's just a short walk or quick beach cart ride from Crystal Beach, I highly recommend Beachside RV Park& Self-Storage at Crystal Beach. It's a great home base whether you're spending the weekend relaxing on the sand, fishing, or exploring the Bolivar Peninsula.

      Rayford Crossing RV Resort

      Professional park for work/urban customers

This is a 5 star property across the board. The management company owns several nationwide and it's clear they know what they are doing.

The park is near the border of The Woodlands and Spring. It's much quieter than either town yet close to both with groceries, restaurants, and all that jazz just minutes away.

I'm using this park as I transition to fulltime RV life, moving out of my home in The Woodlands. Many people here work in town or are here seasonally, such as petroleum industry folks.

The park is like a mini RV show with several large and high end units and many folks with vehicles in addition to their RVs. If you're looking for urban but woodsy in a clean and safe environment, look no further!

      Gulf Side Oasis Beach Dispersed

Camping on the beach. Great view and quiet evenings.

Camping on the beach is permitted along the dunes but do not park our camp on the dunes. Fires are permitted as long as there's no fire restrictions at the time. Please follow the trash in trash out rules as well and if you do have a fire please be sure to bury the fire. The sand is silty along the dunes so please be careful to not get stuck and if you do it'll take awhile for any trucks to get out there. Please mind the speed limit it's 15 mph on the beach you're supposed to go from west to east as well. And remember that this is an actual road that your tax dollars pay for so please be kind.

    Guide to Webster

Cabin rentals near Webster, Texas provide convenient accommodation options for visitors exploring Galveston Bay and the surrounding Gulf Coast area. Located at 1029 Marina Bay Drive in Kemah, USA RV Resorts Marina Bay maintains several cabin units alongside their 200 RV sites. The cabins remain available year-round due to the mild coastal climate, though summer humidity levels regularly exceed 90% and occasional tropical weather systems may impact availability during hurricane season.

    What to do

Wildlife watching at Brazos Bend State Park: At Brazos Bend State Park Campground, guests can observe alligators in their natural habitat throughout the park. "We even came across one on the trail eating a snake," reports one camper. The park maintains multiple wildlife observation platforms along designated trails.

Astronomy at the observatory: Brazos Bend State Park offers exceptional stargazing opportunities. "The observatory is amazing on clear nights," notes a visitor. The park's George Observatory hosts regular weekend programs where astronomy enthusiasts share their equipment and knowledge with visitors.

Beach activities at Galveston: Galveston Island State Park Campground provides direct beach access from cabin sites. "The beach itself is clean/not littered and is perfect for skim boarding," shares a reviewer. The beachside campsites feature concrete pads with covered pavilions within walking distance to the shore.

    What campers like

Clean, modern facilities: Jackie's Place RV Resort maintains well-appointed cabin rentals with access to community amenities. "A brand new RV resort that has concrete pads, full hook-up sites, a sparkling pool and guest lounge, general store and a pool table," notes a visitor. The resort opened recently with updated facilities throughout.

Waterfront views: Cabins at waterfront properties provide scenic vistas of Galveston Bay. "The view on the far side of the circle as you enter is spectacular, looking over the water on the bay side," explains a camper about their stay at Galveston Island State Park. Many cabin sites offer views of either the Gulf of Mexico or various bayous and inlets.

Strategic location: Brickhouse RV Resort positions cabin guests near numerous attractions and services. "There are plenty of restaurants and quite a few are in walking distance. Big name stores are close by as well as Kemah Boardwalk with all the touristy stuff," states one reviewer. Most cabin rentals in the area sit within 30 minutes of Space Center Houston and other regional attractions.

    What you should know

Reservation requirements: Cabins around Webster typically require advance booking, especially during peak periods. "We arrived here and this place is very neatly kept and very clean. Cement pads throughout. Cabins available as well," explains a visitor to USA RV Resorts Marina Bay. Most properties require reservations 2-4 weeks in advance during summer months.

Weather considerations: Gulf Coast weather patterns affect cabin camping experiences year-round. Hurricane season runs June through November, with August and September presenting highest risk of disruptions. Winter temperatures rarely drop below freezing, making year-round cabin camping viable.

Parking limitations: Some properties enforce strict parking regulations. "Only real problem was the people park on the main thruway making getting in and out with the trailer difficult. We had to wake a guy up to move his truck to get into our spot and he was cranky about it," reports a Brickhouse RV Resort guest. Most cabin sites allow for one vehicle, with overflow parking areas available at larger facilities.

    Tips for camping with families

Pool access importance: Houston Med Center KOA Holiday maintains family-friendly cabin accommodations with recreational amenities. "Great campground with wonderful staff who are very friendly. Full hookup, paved sites with heated saltwater pool and hot tub, workout facilities, clubhouse with games and puzzles," states a visitor. Most family cabins remain within short walking distance to swimming facilities.

Playground proximity: Several cabin locations offer easy access to playgrounds and recreational spaces. "Great walking paths. Electric and water sites; nice dump station. Close to commercial/tourist area. The beach is a short walk from campground," notes a visitor to Galveston Island State Park. Cabin sites closest to playground equipment typically book first.

Pest preparation: Insect protection remains essential for family cabin stays near Webster. "If you go in the summer you need to watch out for mosquitoes," warns a Brazos Bend State Park visitor. The coastal humidity and numerous water features create ideal mosquito breeding conditions, particularly during dawn and dusk hours.

    Tips from RVers

Site selection strategy: Palms RV Park offers cabin rentals alongside RV sites with varying qualities. "Great park! More long term tenants than over nighters. But still a good park. Quiet and kid friendly," shares a visitor. Experienced campers recommend requesting cabins away from long-term resident sections for quieter stays.

Utility considerations: Electrical systems vary between properties and may impact appliance functionality. "The front and the back of the RV Park seem to be two different experiences. We were in site 223 in the back, by the city park, and we could barely hear any vehicle noise," explains a Houston Med Center KOA Holiday visitor about noise levels. Many cabins feature standard 15-amp residential electrical service rather than the 30/50-amp connections available to RV sites.

Traffic awareness: Several properties experience significant highway noise that may affect cabin experience quality. "This is a nice park practically in the middle of a freeway. No kidding, it's barely off of the off ramp," notes a Houston Med Center KOA Holiday visitor. Requesting cabins furthest from roadways can significantly reduce ambient noise levels.
