Sandpiper RV Resort

This was a great spot. Our site was level and easy to get set up. It was off season so the office was closed early when we arrived but they did call us to let us know and it all was pretty smooth. Power, water, sewer great just as expected no surprises or problems. We loved our spot and the proximity to the beach do sunrises and walks to the Seawall. So many options for dining and we did love visiting Galveston.
We went to Seawall Church, the Farmers Market, Kite Shop and enjoyed Happy Hour watching the cruise ships pass by.
The Sandpiper has nice laundry room and community room. And a very nice pool, but it was too cold to enjoy. We would def stay again!

We wanted to be close to the city so we could cycle around the sights of Galveston. The cheaper sites are actually on the street, with no fence around them and it was very noisy. We were able to move to a different site though which was great. The bathrooms were clean and well appointed. Happy to recommend a stay here but just be aware of the noise on the street.

Perfect location—easy walk to the beach, plus a nice pool, hot tub, and welcoming common area. Clean, comfortable, and exactly what you want for a relaxing getaway.

Loved the Sandpiper RV location. Nice access to the beach and really nice morning walks on the beach. Has amenities like showers and laundry room. There is also a pool. The only issue we had was the mosquitoes. There were so many and sitting outside was difficult. We did buy some things to help. Not sure it was very effective though.

Easy walking distance to the beach and short drive to Galveston attractions. Pool and hot tub were a hit with the kids.

So the location is great for what I need. Right on the beach and only 30 minute walk to the ferry. The rv sites are large and nicely paved. Only downside is the sites are far from level. When I set the rv to level it jacked it up so high the tires came off the ground. Moving the rv wasn’t an option because the electric wouldn’t reach if I moved forward any further. I just opted not to set my leveling system and it was okay for a quick one night stay. Other downfall was the Wi-Fi. I never did get the password from the woman when I called over the phone and the gentlemen on night shift unfortunately didn’t seem to understand much about it or technology in general. Ended up going for a long walk on the beach and forgot I wanted Wi-Fi anyway.
