Cute, clean, great fishing/boating/beach

This is actually our 3rd time RVing at this little gem. This campground sits right on the channel & has excellent fishing & crabbing. Has a boat ramp & fish cleaning stations. Sites are clean, location is well lit, extremely clean bathrooms/showers.

Nice county campground!

Pros...FHU sites with concrete pads, prices are reasonable for the area, gated, fishing right at the park, fabulous & knowledge hosts, beautiful views, & good Verizon signal.

Cons...sites are VERY close, a large rv might have a challenge navigating interior roads & parking when the park is busy, and wifi is lousy

Great fishing spot

This is a nice place if you want to fish. No boat needed. They have a lighted fishing path, boat docks and launches. They have a beach but no swimming is allowed due to deadly rip currents. Not far to a beach that you can swim from.

Great Fishing, family friendly

Great little park. Ive seen RV's and tents here. Kids fishing hole. Lots of options to fish, either off the bulkhead or the beach. The few things I dont like about it is the sites are very close together and the signs everywhere that say "watch for snakes". I havent seen any though and Ive been here a week. They have pet areas with bags which is nice. Bathrooms and sh o wers are clean. The wifi is great!

Beach!

This is a beautiful area of the Galveston beach. We have been there when it’s clean but lately some people just seem to enjoy leaving their garbage there. It’s hit and miss.

Great for fishing, okay for camping

If I were just reviewing this area for the fishing, it would get 5 stars. You can catch such an interesting variety of fish (see photos). The main downside of the campground is how tightly packed the sites are next to each other. If you're planning an overnight fishing trip during weekdays though, then naturally it's less crowded.

Facilities include: full RV hookups, bathrooms, showers, washer/dryer, wifi.
