RV parks near Webster provide concrete pads with full hookups, making them popular base camps for exploring the Houston-Galveston corridor. Space Center RV Park offers 100 year-round sites with 50-amp service, water, and sewer connections suitable for larger rigs. "Type of Park: Private. Back In Site. Bay RV Park in San Leon maintains 144 sites with 50-amp electrical hookups, while USA RV Resorts Marina Bay in Kemah features 200 all-season sites with both 30 and 50-amp options, though several parks prohibit campfires due to local regulations.

Several parks offer convenient access to local attractions, with Houston Med Center KOA Holiday providing both tent and RV sites with pull-through access. The region experiences year-round camping weather, though summer humidity can be intense, making air conditioning essential for comfortable stays. Reviews highlight varied amenities between properties - "Great for adults, not really anywhere for little kids to play besides the pool but this is a really cool RV resort in downtown Houston," mentioned one visitor about Lakeview RV Resort. Many parks in the area cater to long-term stays with monthly rates for workers in the region. Proximity to Gulf Coast beaches, NASA's Space Center, and the Kemah Boardwalk makes advance reservations advisable, particularly during holiday weekends and spring break periods when occupancy peaks.

    South Main RV Park

Good for proximity to NRG stadium

My husband and I came to the Houston rodeo and stayed here strictly for proximity to the stadium. The RV park did have a shuttle which was very nice to get us to and from. Most sites are large enough for big rigs, you do have to park on the gravel right in front of your rig which can be tight. Nice concrete pads at each site. Traffic can be loud and there are many full-time set ups here with permanent residents. Has a gate with a code so it did feel safe at night. Small dog park that could use some extra TLC. Laundry on premises, no play ground, good wifi and Verizon service.

    Stella Mare RV Resort

Close to Galveston but still quiet

Month long stay, $730, water, 50 amp. End of October/beginning of November the park is booked out as well as during warmer months. Half of the facilities washers and dryers didn't work. Staff is great about communicating lawn days and other news for long term guests. Trash valet and 2 free parking spots. 2 dogs parks, one for large and another for smaller dogs.

    Southlake RV Resort

    Nice clean park

The park is VERY clean and also quiet! It’s close to everything so thats a major plus. However it does have A LOT of rules. Also, a lot of long term residents live here. The back in spots are a little tight so if you’re not great at backing in just get a pull through. The facilities are immaculate . It’s been worth the price so far.

    Houston East RV Resort

    Beautiful Landscaped Sites

Ok these are all premium sites, resort is easy off and on i-10. Gated resort, nice sites, roads are all nice concrete, with concrete parking pads for RV and or tow vehicles. The sites are nicely landscaped, grass, trees, picnic tables, full hookups, include cable and wifi. It is located right off and beside i-10, so there is road noise, but everything food, restaurants, shopping, is all nearby. It's a great stop if traveling i-10 passing through. Oh they also have covered RV sites should you want to beat some of that sunshine off your rig in summer heat. There is a small pool that is nice, and a lake behind campground so one row of sites has lake views. We just took a pull through site under the canopy of trees, it's very nice!

    Rayford Crossing RV Resort

    Well Managed and Manicured

We had to return our travel trailer to the dealership for some warranty work and wanted to have one last little getaway before handing it over. We opted to stay somewhere in the vicinity of the dealership, and this campground had an opening. So, we booked one of the last remaining sites and hit the road!

Located in a suburban area north of Houston, the campground was very easy to find. It was nestled among nice suburban homes but still close to the amenities of a suburban city. We arrived after the employees left the front desk, so they instructed us to pick up our materials at the front office. We immediately noticed how well maintained this campground was. We easily found Site 21, a standard back in site. The sites are all concrete and level with a yard of grass and full hookups, which we really appreciate. We were surprised that our site didn’t have a picnic table like we thought, but we probably could have called to request one (wasn’t a huge issue in this July Texas heat).

This campground is more like a residential area. We noticed that many vehicles were gone early on a weekday morning. Many of the “campers” had potted plants and other items that indicated they were long-term occupants. There were many rules for the campground such as no items allowed on the grass or under RVs and no trash cans at sites, but none of these were unreasonable. Staff was visible throughout the day, often maintaining the grounds and collecting trash at each site (trash collection is each morning). It was extremely quiet, clean, and manicured.

Would we visit this campground again? Yes, if we plan to visit the Houston area for business in the future. We prefer the forest and the solitude that it affords, but this is a nice place to stay if you have business in the area. Rayford Crossing has amenities that may appeal to families with children such as a playground, beautiful pool, hot tub, shuffleboard, horse shoes, and fishing. The nice paved roads and sites and the dog park were nice as well. Our only complaints would be the price and lack of privacy, but I guess that’s to be expected in an RV resort near a major US city like Houston. Basically, it served our purpose.

Guide to Webster

RV parks near Webster, Texas provide convenient access to both urban attractions and Gulf Coast recreation areas. Located in the Houston-Galveston corridor, campers experience a subtropical climate with mild winters and warm, humid summers where temperatures typically range between 45-95°F throughout the year. Coastal proximity creates occasional flooding concerns during hurricane season from June through November.

What to do

Fishing opportunities: Big Spot RV Resort offers nearby fishing access with a "fishing pier available short walk across the street," according to Walter L. The resort provides clean facilities while maintaining proximity to local seafood restaurants.

Beach exploration: At Jamaica Beach RV Resort, visitors enjoy multiple water activities. "Walk to bayside for birdwatching (resort's property) and walk to beach! Great staff, all the amenities you could want!" shared Diane. The resort sits approximately 45 minutes from Webster with Gulf of Mexico access.

Nature trails: Tom Bass Park connects directly to Houston / Med Center KOA Holiday through a back gate. "The best thing about the location is that it backs up to Tom Bass park that has wonderful dog parks along with playgrounds and frisbee golf," notes Tawnya. The park offers multiple walking paths for exercise enthusiasts.

What campers like

Concrete pads: At Jackie's Place RV Resort, campers appreciate the solid foundations. "Pads are all cement with room to park next to your rig. All sites are back so use some spotters to get in safely," advises Russell B. These level surfaces accommodate various RV sizes.

Pool amenities: Multiple rv parks Webster, Texas feature swimming facilities. At Jackie's Place, Russell noted the "beautiful pool, clean restrooms and showers," while Christian S. from Bay RV Park highlighted their "quiet, relaxing atmosphere" with "huge, Texas-size sites."

Family activities: Jamaica Beach RV Resort offers extensive recreation options. One visitor shared, "Lazy river, putt, putt, and kayaking on the bay. It is an easy walk to the beach." The resort includes a mini golf course and multiple swimming areas for different age groups.

What you should know

Traffic considerations: Some Webster area RV parks experience highway noise. At Eric & Jay's RV Resort, Jules S. noted, "You are right next to interstate, but it's convenient to stores and easy to get in & out of gate."

Site spacing variations: RV parks near Webster often have compact layouts. Kristin S. observed at Eric & Jay's that "our back-in spot was also very narrow with hardly any room to walk between the picnic bench and trailer once we were pulled-in," though premium sites offer "bigger grass plots between sites."

Internet connectivity: Connection methods vary between properties. Eric & Jay's uses an unusual system where "the campground wifi is rendered obsolete within the confines of your designated space, instead favoring a hard-wired ethernet connection to your router, which you will leave outside your trailer."

Tips for camping with families

Pool options: Jackie's Place RV Resort offers family-friendly swimming. "We needed a place for 3 nights near Bacliff, TX and this was it," shared Russell B., noting the "beautiful pool, clean restrooms and showers."

Kid-friendly activities: Bolivar Peninsula RV Park offers unique recreation options. "We stayed for a month March 2021 and chose this place because it was the only rv park with a big dog area our german shepherds could run energy off on," reported Lori W., who also mentioned fishing and crabbing opportunities in the on-site lake.

Campfire regulations: Fire policies vary between Webster area campgrounds. While Jackie's Place and Bolivar Peninsula allow fires, USA RV Resorts Marina Bay prohibits open flames, requiring alternative evening activities for families.

Tips from RVers

Site leveling: Some newer Webster RV parks may have uneven pads. At Eric & Jay's, Kristin reported, "some of the concrete slabs are unlevel. Perhaps the most unlevel that we've experienced in our travels." Pack extra leveling blocks when visiting this property.

Gate access protocols: Check-in procedures vary between properties. Kristin S. warned about Eric & Jay's: "Upon arrival, we used the address provided and it led us to a locked gate that required a code. We had no code and the driveway was so short, it had our trailer sticking out into the road." Call ahead for access information.

Seasonal considerations: Weather impacts comfort at rv parks Webster area. "The region experiences year-round camping weather, though summer humidity can be intense," requiring reliable air conditioning units for comfortable stays, especially between June and September.
