Site 11 is next to overflow parking but its not a big deal. All the sites up against the lake looked great! The bathrooms are fine, 1 shared between two loops-slightly far walk. But that wasn't an issue for us. There are a few short miles worth of trails we plan to walk-they appear to be wooded walking trails. All in all this place is a hidden gem if you want to get into nature with the luxury of electric and water, and showers/flushing toilets. Also, I have 3 bars of service (AT&T)

We appreciated the details of coffee in our Airstream and sitting on the patio early morning listening to the birds chirping. The air is fresher there and the stars, wow, I forgot how many there actually are. Fire pit was great for conversation, relaxing and peaceful. We highly recommend this place to get recharged and only 90 min from our home in Frisco, TX.

Children were present and foul language was being used and foul music was being played. I am young only 28 and the music was not family friendly. I have no kids but others nearby did. Other than the certain members on that site everything was great.

They were not heated which probably doesn't matter most of the time in Texas but when we were there it was 20 degrees. Secondly there is dog poop everywhere, it seems that every time I stepped off of the pavement I had to clean dog crap out of my shoes.
