I truck camped here for a week in my friend's parking spot. However, if you're looking to park your RV here for a few months, it's a great spot with a gym, laundry, and wonderful neighbors.

Very nice location on the lake. There are cottages and airstream trailers to rent in addition to the campsites. It’s a little close to the road in but that noise may disappear in the later hours.

Under previous management this place was amazing
We had a very positive experience at this campground when Thomas and Grae were managing it. Unfortunately, since the change in management, our experience has changed considerably. Several new rules have been implemented, but residents were not notified by email, text, or any other form of communication. However, management did not hesitate to send unpleasant emails when we unknowingly violated rules we had never been told about. The new office staff have been rude and, in our experience, seem more focused on themselves and TikTok than on serving the residents. One of our biggest concerns has been the lack of communication. Charges have been added to our account without an invoice, email, or explanation. During the two years we stayed here, we also experienced multiple serious electrical issues with the campground’s power. On two occasions, the power to our site either shut off unexpectedly in the middle of the night or caused an electrical fire. When these incidents occurred, no one was available to assist us. We tried calling the after-hours contact number but were unable to reach anyone. The playground has also been closed for several weeks because of rattlesnake concerns, yet residents were not given clear information or updates. My daughter and I played there for several hours. We went home to get a snack and some water, and when we returned, we found a paper sign stating that the playground was closed permanently because of a rattlesnake infestation. Residents, especially families with young children, should have been clearly notified about this safety issue. The sense of community has also changed. Under the previous management, the campground hosted cookouts and other activities that made the park feel welcoming and family-friendly. Unfortunately, those activities have stopped, and the overall atmosphere no longer feels the same. It is disappointing to see how much the campground has changed. We truly enjoyed staying here under the previous management, but based on our recent experiences, we have significant concerns about communication, safety, customer service, and the overall management of the park.

Great peaceful stay near the Colorado River
We stayed here for a weekend getaway in the cabin. The sites are spacious, quiet, and right near the Colorado River with easy access to hiking and fishing. During our evening downtime relaxing in the cabin, we checked out Class of '09 Online on a laptop. Great facilities, clean restrooms, and friendly staff. Highly recommend for anyone looking to camp near Bastrop!

Buda Place is a Family RV Resort in Buda that stands out from the rest of the RV Parks It's a very peaceful atmosphere. Secure Coded gates, Cameras of who's arriving and leaving, the Office is located at the entrance as soon as you enter the gate you feel safe. Your first greeted by(Corrie Fondriest Manager) she welcomes guest warmly, listens to concerns and accommodates you and your family. Corrie and her staff make sure everything is running smoothly, she has an amazing staff very friendly. Immaculate clean showers/restrooms, the staff cleans and maintains the facilities daily they are always spotless, the grass is always cut weekly. Laundry Rooms are very clean plenty of machines. Full Hookup 30/50-amp spacious sites, some sites are 3 car parking in between sites. You don't feel clustered next to each other. Amenities/Features we enjoyed.*Lagoon pool, Hot tub a lot of mature trees with shaded trees and plenty of lounge chairs.*The Lake is amazing! we saw joggers, walkers, people walking their pets.*Fishing they have a private lake stock up with bass, catfish and perch the kids have fun fishing of the fishing pier.* The Barn, they have social activities at the Barn from hot dog, cookouts, potlucks to Karaoke night.* Dog Park our Great Pyrenees enjoyed the dog park is very clean and well maintained by the staff our furry little guy met furry friends and will miss them.* At the end of the night we sat around the deck by the lake and relax, unwind, and breathe in the fresh air and watch the beautiful sunset over the lake. Thank you, Corrie you and your staff are awesome! We will come back to Buda RV Place we highly recommend it!

Lovely Austin Area RV Park

I am working in the Austin area for a few months and I'm staying at this RV park. I adore this place, and it is now one of my favorite RV parks!
It's close enough to town for easy access to everything, but far enough away for quiet starry nights. You're right across the street from tons of outdoor activities, including Hamilton Pools and Westcave. The property is extremely dog friendly with dog bins everywhere, and two good sized dog parks! The pool is lovely, and the rec room is pretty great. There are a few longer-term residents and they have been very friendly and welcoming. And lastly, the sites are oversized from a typical RV park. I love that there's grass everywhere and my site's even big enough to put out my dog oversized dog playpen out for my pups to enjoy.
Overall, I'm so happy to have landed here. Highly recommend if you are in the area.
