Austin East KOA

Dog owners will find Austin East KOA particularly accommodating, with what one reviewer calls the "biggest dog park at an rv resort that you have ever been to." The campground sits east of downtown Austin on gravel sites with overhead trees and offers full hookups for RVs up to 50 feet.

Sites include fire pits, picnic tables, and barbecue grills, with what reviewers describe as ample spacing between spots. The facility features private bathrooms and showers that campers consistently praise for cleanliness. A heated pool provides relief during Texas summers, while a clubhouse stocks games, books, and yard toys. The on-site store carries forgotten essentials and camping supplies.

Staff members escort guests to their sites upon check-in and offer convenient services like firewood and ice delivery via text message. Kristen notes the facility is "very well kept up and sparkling clean" with "immaculate" bathrooms. WiFi reaches throughout the property, though streaming speeds can be slow during peak usage.

The campground operates year-round with rates ranging from $50-80 per night. For those exploring the broader region, campgrounds outside Manor provide additional options. Book ahead during busy seasons, as the spacious sites and dog amenities make this a popular choice for pet-owning travelers.

Clean spot

Like most KOA's the price is higher and it less camping than RV parking. However, the bathrooms are great, there are great common areas, washing machines etc.. an the front staff are super nice! Dow town is a long bike ride (for kids) or a short Uber away.

Closest to Rodeo

Quick friendly checkin. Escort as usual per KOA. Site is gravel, has green and trees overhead. Pool is small but well heated. Roads are wide, gentle curves navigable. Bathrooms clean. Clubhouse stocked with games, yard toys and books. Wifi very good, stream is slow but doable.

Great Place!

This KOA is fairly new and they say it’ll be expanding soon. Everything is very well kept up and sparkling clean. It has private showers and bathrooms that are immaculate. The staff was so friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome, even though we were only there for one night to practice our set up and tear down, as we are newbies. Spacious RV sites with bbq grills, FHU, fire pit, picnic table, some shade. Really nice pool, small game room with a big, tree-shaded deck. A nice little general store was perfect for forgotten items.

Great spot just outside of Austin proper

Great spot to be outside of downtown Austin. Had our two dogs and it was a good spot. We have our RTT so didn’t need much. The showers were great👌🏽 Very affordable compared to everything else around and you don’t get the light pollution nor noise from town. Stayed twice!

Great family campground

if you have dogs this will probably be the biggest dog park at an rv resort that you have ever been to. everyone is very friendly everything is very clean. the office sells tons of goods that you may need for rv or camping. the grounds are well maintained to feature the natural beauty of the area and with respect to sustainability. the best part about this park is the ample space between sites, making you feel private and spacious.
