We don’t like driving from this park, and it’s always such a good place to escape when we want a short getaway! The lake is always a good time and the campground is large! You can’t go wrong with this park!
A beautiful place to relax in peace. My copilot Artemus and I enjoyed this beautiful gem which was a last minute first pick while in the area. Can’t wait to return, best experience yet. Brunch Sunday was beyond amazing!! Thank you:)
Had a great site where everyone was quiet and very friendly. No power but water was nearby for use. Hosts very very nice and stopped by to say hello! Can’t wait to return!
Serene and quiet. Loved this state park camp site. Close to the water and a wonderful visitor venter!
This was our first official RV trip in our personal RV. We’ve stayed at National campsites in rentals and cabins. Yet this location was one of our favorites. The amenities they offer and the space they provide between campsites. We’re able to fish, swim, and so much more right at our camp site. …

Awesome place up in the mountains
Great spot. Clean bathrooms and fire pits. Very friendly camp host that has/had firewood available to guests. With a recommended donation box. Would def come back here again
Awesome little campground. Spots were decently spaced. There was a lot of changes going on. The map online wasn’t exactly correct. Spot 45 showed primitive camping behind it but actually had lake access!
When we got to check in our spot we booked weeks in advance we’re changed and was given a smaller spot. The bathrooms weren’t clean and all and the spot numbers were hard to find. Other than that it was still a pretty good one night stay for our group. The power and water hookups were close even…
The campground is very well kept and site are level enough. It is a bit far out and the sites are tight together.
We spent 2 weeks investigating the area. Campground was very nice and clean. Closer together than I prefer but normal for a Koa
Close enough to city but away from it.
A20 had some road noise next time I’d stay back on the lake
Nobody here! We had the campground all to ourselves. $5 fee and a full campground to choose from. The sites are clean and spacious. You can collect firewood to have campfires in the provided fire pits. Would definitely come again!

Called about reservations, they are no longer operating the campgrounds. Guide service only.
Stayed 7 days in #1 from 6/25 to 7/1 with two other RVers and was a romantic peaceful time with our own waterfall and creek running around us. Just a word on getting there- don’t follow the gps onto Kim Miller Rd. Stay on Rt 64 and turn onto 281 past firehouse. Much easier!
