This is a very popular destination. So, the campground was pretty loud and crowded at night until the lights out call. The lake views with the mountains in the background are perfect. Tad cool in the evenings, which would be perfect in the hot months. We learned that the other campground loop…

This was my first time staying at the park, but second visit. This is one of the most beautiful places on earth. It isn’t as busy as the Smokies and I find myself more at rest here. The park has good to excellent facilities and is well maintained. In the park, you can swim, hike, camp, fish and…

Very nice host. Clean bathrooms. Our space was small but some are a good size. Dirt/leaf covered site. Many permanent residents so not the community of campers feel.
Hosts were super friendly and the campground was incredibly taken care of. We stayed at the techno site with a tent and were able to set it up on a fresh pad of mulch so we didn’t have to sleep on the gravel. The bath house was super clean and tidy. The campground was close to many hiking areas and…

We stayed on two sites (8 and 11) as a group for a weekend. There isn’t water access from the site but you can see the water from some sites. Sites were on the smaller side and not particularly level front to back. Bath house was clean but a decent uphill walk away from most sites as there is only…

The sites we stayed at were on gravel pads located 50-100 ft from the car. The cars are parked on a ridge and you hike a little bit downhill to the camp spot. Very forested and private. Beautiful views from the campsite. Would definitely come back! Water and bathrooms are a short walk down the…

Clean campground. Friendly staff. Great scenery all around.
We drove here to find that the coordinates given by the app took us to a neighborhood and once you get there the pin that shows where the campsite is supposed to be has a sign saying “disaster area”. Don’t waste your time driving here unless the coordinates get updated.
From Hwy 107 you can access Burells Ford road which is fully gravel and rocky, certain cars may have difficulty. Just follow the gravel road and you’ll find a parking lot on the left that has a backcountry campsite but you have to hike to the site, it’s not a drive in site. If you keep continuing…
We had a great time camping at Rose Creek. We stayed for the 4th of July 2020 and could see the fireworks from town. The pool is small but was extremely clean. The RV spots were nice but could've been maintained a little better. I'd go back.
This is one of North Carolina’s best waterfall parks. Rainbow Falls, Turtel Back Falls and Bust your Ass Falls. The Visitors Center has free parking for RV’s and Vans theirs numerous primitive sites and I found a Gem of a site about 2 miles from the parking lot.
A very beautiful mountain waterfall trail to High Falls. The rock steps where amazing.

Spent another 3 nights at Tugaloo State Park. It is our happy place. Our campsite was extraordinary. Beautiful sunrise each morning and the weather was perfect camping on the lake weather. There is so much to do at this park or just relax watching the boats go by.

Absolutely beautiful scenery with lots of trails and wildlife to experience. The lake was a perfect and calm setting well also getting some fishing in. Miss Debbie at the trading post what is the best!
I’d give it 4.75 stars if I could. It gets 5 stars for large sites with decent enough privacy, access to hiking and mountain biking, strict rule enforcement (you definitely won’t hear generators all night here!), good RV dump/fill station, and access to the town of Brevard which has a bunch of…
