Beautiful, quiet, and clean

Beautiful kid and pet friendly campground. Waterfalls, hikes and free fishing gear available. Non dispersed campsites. Quiet neighbors. We could hear the water current at our site. Site 17 is spacious. We fit 2 vehicles, 20x10 tent and another 4person tent along with chairs inflatable couch and all that with plenty of room to move around. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful! Clean bathrooms. The hooks for your belongings are out side of the shower. Different but manageable.

Great County Park

We stayed for 10 days with our 37 ft travel trailer. There's only 3 sites that could realistically handle this size or larger. No sewer hook ups, but thats not an issue for us. The rangers kept the bathhouse immaculate. They take such great care of the whole park! If we get back out this way, we will definitely be back!

Not for tent camping

Neat area, but too much gravel on the sites for tent camping. The spots were also too close together that there was no privacy in the campsite. I wish the camping was better because the river and trails are so worth the visit!

Beautiful Park

Campground is okay. Sites are on the smaller side, no privacy from each other, and campground is on a steep hill so walking to bathhouse is a good workout every time. Chau Ram itself is a beautiful park worthy of at least a full day trip.

Pretty ok

The best thing about this campground to me is that it has a nice spot for my son to splash in the water and a nice playground as well. The facilities are clean enough, but there's nothing especially remarkable about this place to me.

Beautiful hidden Gem

This campground is very beautiful and peaceful. It has trails, a little beach to swim, and a wonderful playground. The bathrooms were beautiful. Lots of waterfalls nearby to explore and a beautiful winery nearby. Our family loves this park. The park ranger is very helpful and kind. A must visit.

Hills

This is a quiet campground. Every site except about 4 are on a hill. The sites are flat but it’s a hill to get to them. There are a lot of waterfalls in the area and a lot to do. The park has its very own waterfall. The park itself is very nice. There is no code to get out at night and the gates close at 8. Beautiful area!

Great little secret

Chau-Ram is a small 25-site campground in the SC mountains near the Georgia border. It is suitable for tents, pop-ups, and smaller RV. Great little park with a waterfall, river rapids, and hiking trails.

wonderful!

We loved bed it here and plan to go back soon! The spots are large, there are gorgeous hiking trails, waterfalls and rapids, and an area you can swim/tube in the river at your own risk of course. Great playground and plenty of space to walk/hike/bike. The only downfall is that the campground is built on a hill so the walk to the campsites is a bit tough if you have a spot up the hill.
