Amazing place, can ride so you're toys straight into thousands of acres of family fun, we try to get down here twice a year. Sites are spacious and most are shady. Just be aware it's a newer place so they are constantly improving it. Love Trailhead and AOAA
Great family campground, awesome playground and other kid stuff and a nice newer pool. Fishing pond and great store and ice cream shop. Would definitely go back here!
Great place. No water hook up. No sewer hook up. Just electric at certain sites. Convenient paved walking path all around the lake, swimming lake with beach, nice playground for kids. Lake is Good for fishing and canoe/kayak rides. Bathrooms are absolutely horrendous - Really terrible.
Whenever we go to Gettysburg which is usually once a year we always stay here. Really nice place. Recommend a site by the creek Cool laid back staff and clean bathrooms nice playground for kids. Not to mention it’s a few minute drive to historic Gettysburg. It’s nice and out of the way of the busy parts of town.
A little pricey but well kept. Sites are on the larger side.
This campground has a great little lake to take out a kayak in. The sites are decent size and there are some great hiking trails!
This campground is great and our go to if we want to stay closer to home. The sites are a good size and there is plenty to do (swimming, fishing, hiking, escape room, and weekend activities for everyone). The new owners are doing a lot of upgrades in the off season to make it even better.
Highly recommend you check them out!!
If you’re looking for a backwoods, off-the-beaten-path type of campground, this isn’t it. If you are looking for a campground that is very close to an historical National Park not to mention shopping and restaurants, this is for you.
The amenities of Gettysburg Campground are quite good: full hookups with cable, all working as expected. Level sites, friendly and efficient staff, decently sized sites long enough for my 32’ coach and a toad. The two drawbacks are that the sites are quite packed together and the noise of traffic– at least in the frontmost sites– can get rather loud at night. However, the proximity to Gettysburg National Park can’t be beat.
We were in two different sites: the first was a two point site (water and electric) the road was dirt it seemed separate from the main drag of the campground, sites were wide but not very deep.
We then switched over to a full hookup site in the wooded area. Depending on your rig size you’re only available certain sites. They won’t give you a 50 amp site unless your 50 amp or 40’, they save them for larger campers.
The bathrooms were heated, and okay. I didn’t care for the shower curtain system it seems less private.
Laundry is quaint and coin operated.
Playground was open and great for the kids, so was mini golf.
