Nightmare Hikers

The campground is not a far walk from the parking lot. Great tree coverage. Hikers take any trail instead of marked trails regardless of families camping in a private areas. When I made the reservation it was noted that hikers were not allowed on campsites. They should post this info for the people…

Not the best experience

We got there, the host wasn’t very friendly. We had to pay $50 per night for a tent site that was sandy mud. The facilities were nice and they had a pool and some other amenities. Somebody found a snake in there trailer so watch out for those 😂

Nice facilities, clean campground

We camped right up against the lazy River, the campground was pretty open because it was a weekday. Spots are kind of close, no trees or anything to separate spots. We’re used to that now haha. It had really nice bathrooms and showers. The washers and dryers work awesome, grateful for that! We paid…

Owners are bullies

Kicked out for asking why no amenities were open. Was told they didn’t want “unhappy folks here”

Awful

The place is beautiful. They advertise all of their activities, none of which are ever open, including the pool. Owners are crazy, we got yelled at by the only staff member we could find (no one was ever really around, office was always closed, no one to contact) because we asked why the pool was…

All you need...

Our go to State Park for camping as it is pretty close to home. Standard State Park with all the amenities you need. We are tent campers/ non electric (no pets/ no kids). So we don’t need much other than some privacy. Some sites are closer together than others though. Decent bathhouses. Town of…

  • View from inside our tent. (without the fly over)
  • Little Bay great for fishing right by the loop when you walk a few feet of the trail
  • No one to the front of the tent which is nice. Closest neighbors are to the right of the tent.

Perfect even in the Rain

First time camping at this park and it was perfect. Even though it rained all weekend, we explored the area by car, even tried some fishing off the pier and we got to get some much needed rest and relaxation in. D Loop seemed like the best loop (for tent campers such as us). Pretty spacious…

Needs some TLC

We stayed there for 5 Days. It's a quit Campground. I don't think that we would stay here  for a whole week, since there is really nothing going on. Unless you like to hike a lot, then this would ideal. You will have a hard time to find a parking spot for your truck, since most sites are short.…

Large campground in Pennsylvania near the AT

"Rocksylvania". According to hikers on the AT, this is what they call Pennsylvania, as they hike through this section of the state. And Blue Rocks Campground doesn't dissapoint.

This campground sits in the woods and rolling hills just below the Appalachian Trail. Nice huge campground. The RV sites…

Perfect for our family.

We absolutely love FCSP! The sites are great, the lakes are beautiful, bathrooms are clean and only an hour from home! It’s tough to nail down your favorite spot sometimes but worth it.

Lake Campground great for families

We loved the lake campground. My kids are age 3-12. There’s running water available, porta potties are very clean and don’t smell and are lit with a street lamp. Very quiet at night. The park ranger this weekend was the nicest and very helpful with directions to walk to the playground and indoor…

Nice little place

We were here about 10-15 yrs ago and swore we’d never go back. I’m glad we did. They’ve added a pool and are working on a mini golf area. Nice playground, basketball court, 2 fishing areas. Almost all the seasonals are new(er) campers and even the older ones are well maintained-180° change from the…

Secluded spot next to the creek

We were surprised to find this nice little spot next to the creek right outside of town. There’s a spot right next to it but was unoccupied while we were there so we were all alone. The road noise is kind of annoying but the area is beautiful. We had shade all day at our spot, but spent a lot of…

Popular with the locals

We did get a great site by the river, no swimming sadly. The campground is packed and tight sites. They make you choose what site you want to be at, which is kinda cool. The grounds are hard to drive around in, if you have a big camper.

Clean, large and interesting having the blue rock boulders there.

Very expensive for what is offered. No water or electric at tent sites. Off season $36 peak season starting May 1st $40. Bathrooms were a hike from site 120. Pricey for what is offered. I'd only take this camping area again as a last resort as I could've done just as well creating a site on my own…
