Nice spot for a quick stay

Nice clean SP campground. Popped in randomly during cross-country trip and was good for our purposes. Nice folks at the next site which were relatively small and close together but was pleasant enough for a quick stay.

Good enough for one night

The sites are on top of each other and it was very full on a Saturday night. But neighbors were nice and the bathrooms were very clean. The site itself was pretty small. It was pretty quiet and comfortable.

Gorgeous Trails

The whole park is amazing. Recommend Little Falls Trail. We also explored Conservation Island. Many more trails to explore and not enough time. The surrounding town is small and very cute.

Lots of choice

There are several different camping areas within the park. Some areas are pet friendly while others are not. Some sites have hookups while others are primitive. There is an area for everyone! Be sure to check out the hiking trails and the beach!!

Wildlife

Ive always has a great time here, but this last time I was not happy. There was a raccoon outside of our tent that scared all of my kids!

The promised Land

Where to start? This place is named appropriately! It is beautiful! Nice clean water for swimming in the beach area. Wonderful viewing of wildlife, and nice trails for hiking and biking. The restrooms were clean and the ranger we met was very nice. We are planning to come back here again, it is one of our fav places!
