More of a Full Time Park

This park is more for full time living. Not much to do here. The Columbia River is across the street but there is no access because there is a yacht club, it's fenced around.

Quiet, clean, well kept, no frills

Reservations on the phone were helpful and pleasant. Rest Rooms with showers are very clean all the time.  Maintenance workers are busy about the park weekdays. Ice machine use is included. Picnic table under a 20-30 ft tree on every site. Use your Good Sam club discount. Drive-through and back in…

Love this beach campground!

This is a beautiful park.  We've stayed here several times over the years.  My favorite is when I am able to snag a cabin reservation, but tent camping is also very pleasant here.  We're headed back later this summer and I can't wait.

The cabins are located near the day use area, but are back…

Beautiful beach camping

Love this campground!  We go every couple of years for a family campout at the coast.  The beach here is beautiful and we've always had a good experience in the campground.  Some sites are better than others and we've had trouble with wind in certain loops, but overall it's been a fantastic…

Hidden gem

We decided to try our luck looking for a last minute campsite on a holiday weekend.   After several stops, we stumbled across this campground and happily discovered that they had spaces available.

We agreed to reserve the available tent site for the weekend sight unseen and we have been so…

Ocean view, great location and amenities at your disposal

Flat paved rv sites, can see it getting crowded during peak season. Prices are on the higher end but you get what you pay for as they accommodate for fishing and crabbing.

Oregon state park campground near the Pacific Ocean

We happened to be on the Oregon Coast on a Friday night during nice spring weather. The website said there were still a few sites left so we drove there to secure one. It is best to reserve a site but we never do so you can still get a site the day of if you don’t have a reserved site and there are…

Lovely stay, simple and easy

Great camp sites, spaced out pretty decently. Fire pits, picnic tables, a paved loop, pit toilet, and potable water all on site. The noise from the river helps cover up most of the sound from the neighbors, but the closeness to the road means engine noise and headlights flashing your camp at 2am.…

Very bussy campground now. COVID restrictions have been mostly removed.

May 2021. COVID restrictions were dropped for this park so ever full hook up camping spot was full this trip and only 4 feet between camps. So, as you can tell from my writing this was really close together camping. Our spot was#45 which was a back-in camp. There was enough room for our awning to…
