Great location

Great location—right by the river. We arrived late in the evening, and the staff met us and showed us to our room, which was especially helpful in the dark. The downside is that the plots are very close to each other, so it feels cramped. In addition, the bright street lights were distracting at night— perhaps they are necessary for safety, but we found them excessive. On the other hand, there are excellent amenities and a long promenade for walking. The owners are very friendly. Overall, we were satisfied.

Columbia River RV Park

A great place to stop with a motorhome or tent, located on the banks of the Columbia River near Portland. The park is known for its cleanliness, friendly staff, and good amenities: paved parking, electricity, Wi-Fi, showers, and laundry facilities. There are also areas for pets and a place for dogs to run off-leash. Despite the close parking, the atmosphere is calm and welcoming. An excellent choice for an overnight stay after exploring Portland!

wonderful stay at Columbia River RV Park

We had a wonderful stay at Columbia River RV Park! The location couldn’t be more convenient, right near Portland and just steps away from the beautiful Columbia River. It was so nice to take walks along the waterfront and enjoy the peaceful views while still being close to everything the city has to offer. The park itself is clean, well-kept, and easy to navigate. The sites are straightforward and provide everything you need for a comfortable stay, whether you’re in a big rig or just stopping by with a smaller setup. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. If you’re looking for a safe, convenient, and relaxing RV stop near Portland with the bonus of riverside scenery, Columbia River RV Park is an excellent choice. We’ll definitely be back! Read More..

Nice place

Nice RV park, close enough to Portland to work for us. We don’t have a tow car so we relied on public transportation to get to downtown, which was great (though it is a 1 mile walk to the bus stop). There are many long-termers here, but due to their 10 or 15 year RV rule, all the RVs here were really nice and fancy. There’s a little area with a free table, a book exchange, some workout equipment, a kitchen, laundry, and showers. The laundry room had a designated pet washer and dryer, which I always love, so we washed all of our dog bedding here. Showers were really really nice, super hot, good pressure, clean, free. Staff was nice as well. Free wifi that worked pretty well. There’s a small neighborhood dog park right across the street.

Great Stop-Over

Great stop, right on the river. We arrived late and were greeted by staff and lead directly to our spot. That was really nice as it was after dark. One star off for density, you’re right next to each other, and for the very bright street lighting in there. We thought it overkill, but perhaps they have their reasons. Super nice facilities. Plenty of riverfront to walk. Great hosts. We enjoyed it.

Easy, clean, close to Portland

We wanted to find a place that was out of the city and a bit isolated but still a very close drive. A bonus was the proximity to the Columbia river and the nice view. This RV park is very basic amenities with clean lots. We brought our SUV and 13' scamp trailer and it was straightforward to park. The crowd is mostly middle age long-time tenants with a few rotating spots. The showers looked clean and nice although we didn't use them.

I would recommend this post to people who just want a safe, easy place to park while they visit the city. It's not a place you would want to hang out at for long periods, just a nice place to come back to and fall asleep.

Great Place to Stay to See Portland

Large, well maintained RV park. Very friendly, efficient staff. Bathrooms with showers--modern and well maintained. Good security. This looks like a full time location with good long-term rates.

More of a Full Time Park

This park is more for full time living. Not much to do here. The Columbia River is across the street but there is no access because there is a yacht club, it's fenced around.

Clean and right in Portland

About as close-in Portland as you can get for an RV (not trailer) park, this place is on the North side of town right next to the river (with Vancouver, Washington not too far away). Not really much to do in this area or in the park iteself, but if you're passing through Portland and need a place to stay you could do much worse.

Basically a big, well organized parking lot with a few trees on the edge. Decently well maintained and even some bright flowers in planters. There's definitely some long-timers but not too run down and there's a separate area right at the entrance for more daily turn-over type spots.

Nothing fancy

Gold for a night passing through. Girl registering us in seemed confused. Just ok. Stall next door was a permanent resident that would rather not have neighbors

Basic Nice RV Park Right in Portland

Located at the northern end of Portland not too far off the 1-5 freeway. RV campground with wide streets, nice office staff, and clean facilities including laundry, clubhouse, group kitchen area and free wi-fi. Grass in-between most spots, with some back-in sites and others being pull-through. Backs up to a busy road blocked by large bushes and under the pathway for the airport, so there's some noise but not horrible. Some full-times but sites are nice and well maintained. Overall nice, clean and well maintained large RV site within the Portland city limits.

Friendly with Good Amenities

Columbia River RV Park has daily, weekly, and monthly rates, which vary with the size of the space. Our space is $500 per month. There is free Wi-Fi, cable, trash service, and water. The park has two off-leash dog areas, two shower facilities, a community kitchen, a rec room that you can use for gatherings, a free table for giving away things that you don't need or taking things you want, a laundry facility, and a workout room. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the neighbors are quiet. The only disturbance are the Air Force jets that fly overhead occasionally in the morning and the sound of frogs at night, because it's backed by a lovely woodland and swale.
