    Nice clean campground

Spent one night at this campground. Grounds were clean, restrooms and showers were also clean. The check in office was inviting and pleasing. We didn’t use the laundry facility while we were there, but they are available should the need arise. Bathrooms were locked and secure and passcode was required to enter. Passcode was provided upon check in. Our site was a pull through level gravel pad with full hookups. The off leash dog park was a small fenced in area with a couple of benches. Horse track and casino were well within walking distance from the camp sites. Quiet location, just off the highway. Highway could not be heard from inside our camper.

The RV Park at Keystone Lake

    Great New Park

This is a brand new park with full hookups, easy access and easy parking. Streets & parking areas are blacktopped and pretty level. There is a nice, well-stocked convenience store on with ice, firewood, food, propane, a few fishing supplies and gift shop. Park personnel are very friendly & helpful, and there is a nice silo-style pavilion where the owners are going to be adding events & entertainment in the future. A small laundry is across the street from the store.

We paid extra for a premium site with high speed internet WiFi connection, trash pickup & other perks because my husband wanted to stream college football games, and the WiFi was great. Had 50 amp hookup, water & sewer and a gravel parking spot for extra vehicle next to the RV spot. All in all, a great stay.

I enjoyed this place, but couldn’t give it a 5 star review for a couple of reasons. One, there was only one area where a charcoal grill was available, by the pavilion in the center of the park. There were no trash containers or ash cans around there so we had to truck our food & cooking trash back to the rv and had to pour water over the coals & leave the mess in the cooker (which I hated to do). Second reason was the water hookup. My brother in law drove the RV in & hooked it up for us, which was a good thing. The water hookup is under the ground like a water meter location, and both my husband & myself have physical limitations that prevent us from getting on our knees to reach under the ground for hookups. If there was a tall spigot with hose hookup available where you could hook up from a standing position that would make it much easier for old folks like us!

Don’t recommend if you need amenities

I would not recommend this park. Bathrooms are filthy- trash on the floor, clogged toilet for days, showers have pink mold. We asked if we could use their cleaning supplies and never got a response however the next day someone was “cleaning. I use “” because the trash in the women’s showers, mold, soap scum, hair dye, and general dirt was still there. Toilets and sinks weren’t cleaned properly. We had to use their facilities and paid for a week stay (they offer no refunds) so we were stuck unfortunately. The google reviews are very untrue. Not sure who wrote them but that’s what we went off of. If you have a big rig and don’t need amenities and don’t care about overflowing dumpsters then it’ll be a fine stay. Lot of long term trailers. The kids were nice though and my boys enjoyed playing on the playground with them. We had the only space with a giant puddle upon arriving that never did dry up and then it rained 😅

    The Sandbur RV Park

    Cozy + Clean

Quaint little rv park nestled up next to the woods! Nice wooded walking trail with access to a private lake beach front. Great size lots and lots of room for rv, vehicle and camp/fire area! Clean bathroom and laundry facility on site. Propane refills on site. Friendly owners and quiet neighbors. Nice little hills for snow sledding! Short 15 minute scenic drive to Ponca City. Also, Amazon delivers out here!

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Keystone Lake

Absolutely would not recommend Jellystone RV Park at Keystone Lake.

We called ahead and clearly explained we needed a full hookup site to test out our motorhome before a major trip. We were also told they had a playground and asked to be placed as close to it as possible. We confirmed that checkout was at 11 AM and were told if we needed a late checkout, it would be an additional$20.

When we arrived, we were one of the only guests there, yet they still insisted on charging a late checkout fee. Even worse— the site they gave us had only 30 amp electric hookup— no water, no sewage hookup— despite what we were promised over the phone. The“playground” was a complete joke: no swings, no slides— just a small metal structure with a few steps. Nothing like what is pictured or advertised. When we asked for a refund because the site was not what we were promised, the older woman at the front desk laughed and said,“It’s raining, the kids can’t play anyway,” and refused to refund us.

She offered a“credit toward a future stay,” which we obviously declined. There are only THREE sites in the entire park with full hookups, and they are right at the front gate next to the train tracks. As a military family(my husband is a disabled combat vet), it’s also worth noting they do not offer any military discount. Between the poor service, false advertising, and complete lack of accommodations, this place is wildly overpriced and absolutely not worth the three-hour drive we made to get there.

0/10 recommend. Save your money and go somewhere else. We left and stayed down the road by Pier 51 instead— a much better experience.

    Keystone State Park Campground

    They are working on it

Convenient to Tulsa, this large park has a variety of sites to choose from. It is evident they are making park upgrades with new bathhouses, paving and signs. They have not made improvements to the Lake Country sites. The pull through sites are very close together. The pad is pretty level but a couple of them are cracked and crumbling. Full hook ups are nice with 30/50 amp. The section near the pier seems like the sites are more spaced out. Large beautiful lake provides nice views. If you don’t like to hear trains, the campground is located close to the tracks (was ok for me ). Reservations are required and there is no check in system, just pull up to your site. There is a park office but check in isn’t required.

    Spencer Creek

    Nice Getaway!

This campground is only 20 minutes from our home and we go here as a short getaway. We’ve been 3 times over the summer because it’s so close. There are sites on top of ridge overlooking Oolagah Lake. Site 10 is an accessible site. When you back in you have a nice view of lake from front window and living area of RV.

Sites 12, 14 & 15 are on ridge with views of lake and 17 is at bottom of hill with view of lake.

Park has a play area, trail, soccer field, boat ramp and short walk to beach area. We stayed in site 3 which is a spacious site and short walk to beach.

Mid October Oolagah Lake is in the path of Pelicans migrating south. When you camp mid to end of October the lake with be covered with a white layer of pelicans.

If you have accessible All Access Pass from National Park service you get a discount. We usually get 1/2 off. There are water spickets but not at individual sites. There is a dump station. 30 amps.

    Christ Outpost RV Park

    Nice Overnight Pull Through

Sweet 90 year old lady runs the park, just reopened after covid. Nice gravel pull through with water electric 30A and 50A and sewer for $20 cash or check only. Nothing fancy. Many full time trailers but the sites in the middle are available for short term rental. Doesn’t appear to have short term wifi internet.

    Bluff Landing

    Quiet, fishable, secluded

Peaceful area outside of Tulsa metro on the outskirts of Broken Arrow near Coweta. 25min drive into Tulsa. 10min drive to Walmart and fast food. Checkout Smokies BBQ nearby for great food. Sites were pretty level using gravel. A few were completely shaded but most were barely shaded. Shoreline really close to campsites with boatdock and fishable shoreline. Restrooms were clean but very hot. Showers available but did not use. Fire ring, picnic tables and lantern hooks available. Dump station is clean and easily manageable. Grass needed to mowed especially since several snakes were seen. Whole area was pretty clean and peaceful.
