Best RV Parks & Resorts near Pawhuska, OK

Several RV parks are available within 30 miles of Pawhuska, Oklahoma. Settle Inn RV Park offers full hookup sites with 50-amp electric service and water connections. The spaces accommodate large rigs, though some sites have overhanging trees that can make positioning challenging. "The sites are pretty narrow with some overhanging trees on the corners - we pulled two fifth wheels into two sites and both were within inches of the trees and the edges of each roof while pulling into the sites," noted one camper. Riverside RV Park in Bartlesville provides full hookup sites including 50-amp service, sewer connections, and water. My Green Country RV Park features big-rig friendly spots with both 30-amp and 50-amp service options, plus water and sewer hookups.

Advance reservations are recommended, especially during fall and when visiting area attractions like the Pioneer Woman Mercantile. Most parks maintain year-round operations, though water pressure varies significantly between locations. Based on reviews from The Dyrt, some RV parks have water pressure as high as 90 psi, making pressure regulators essential equipment. Dump stations are available at Riverside RV Park, Bell RV Village, and The RV Park at Keystone Lake. Pets are welcome at most parks, though policies vary regarding designated pet areas. Gravel pads predominate throughout the region's RV parks, with few offering concrete parking surfaces. Cell service is generally strong, with one reviewer noting "Verizon gave me full bars at 5G" at Riverside RV Park.

    The Woods Campground

    Great overnight stop or longner

Nice quick in and out overnight stop or longer if needed. Big rig friendly large pull though sites and smaller back in sites with 30 and 50 amp and water no sewer but dump station is close by. Self service campground $8.00 a night pay at pay station at the entrance of the park. Located in a city park of Coffeyville, play ground with in walking distance from sites. Walmart is less the a 5min drive from this campground and from the town of Coffeyville. Quite area, there seems to be a few campers living here full time or here for work, but all seems to be keeping their sites clean and organized. On the payment envelope says 14 day maximum stay.

The RV Park at Keystone Lake

    Great New Park

This is a brand new park with full hookups, easy access and easy parking. Streets & parking areas are blacktopped and pretty level. There is a nice, well-stocked convenience store on with ice, firewood, food, propane, a few fishing supplies and gift shop. Park personnel are very friendly & helpful, and there is a nice silo-style pavilion where the owners are going to be adding events & entertainment in the future. A small laundry is across the street from the store.

We paid extra for a premium site with high speed internet WiFi connection, trash pickup & other perks because my husband wanted to stream college football games, and the WiFi was great. Had 50 amp hookup, water & sewer and a gravel parking spot for extra vehicle next to the RV spot. All in all, a great stay.

I enjoyed this place, but couldn’t give it a 5 star review for a couple of reasons. One, there was only one area where a charcoal grill was available, by the pavilion in the center of the park. There were no trash containers or ash cans around there so we had to truck our food & cooking trash back to the rv and had to pour water over the coals & leave the mess in the cooker (which I hated to do). Second reason was the water hookup. My brother in law drove the RV in & hooked it up for us, which was a good thing. The water hookup is under the ground like a water meter location, and both my husband & myself have physical limitations that prevent us from getting on our knees to reach under the ground for hookups. If there was a tall spigot with hose hookup available where you could hook up from a standing position that would make it much easier for old folks like us!

    Walnut Creek Recreation Area Campground

    Beautiful affordable campsite

We stayed one night in October with our 22' airstream. Marion the host was welcoming and check in was easy. Beautiful small RV area overlooking lake. Electric sites, no water, some pull through. Close to town. Only $20 a night, would definitely stay again. Went to the Omaha Zoo and it was great!

Clean bathroom and laundry facility on site. Propane refills on site. Friendly owners and quiet neighbors. Nice little hills for snow sledding! Short 15 minute scenic drive to Ponca City. Also, Amazon delivers out here!

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Keystone Lake

Absolutely would not recommend Jellystone RV Park at Keystone Lake.

We called ahead and clearly explained we needed a full hookup site to test out our motorhome before a major trip. We were also told they had a playground and asked to be placed as close to it as possible. We confirmed that checkout was at 11 AM and were told if we needed a late checkout, it would be an additional$20.

When we arrived, we were one of the only guests there, yet they still insisted on charging a late checkout fee. Even worse— the site they gave us had only 30 amp electric hookup— no water, no sewage hookup— despite what we were promised over the phone. The“playground” was a complete joke: no swings, no slides— just a small metal structure with a few steps. Nothing like what is pictured or advertised. When we asked for a refund because the site was not what we were promised, the older woman at the front desk laughed and said,“It’s raining, the kids can’t play anyway,” and refused to refund us.

She offered a“credit toward a future stay,” which we obviously declined. There are only THREE sites in the entire park with full hookups, and they are right at the front gate next to the train tracks. As a military family(my husband is a disabled combat vet), it’s also worth noting they do not offer any military discount. Between the poor service, false advertising, and complete lack of accommodations, this place is wildly overpriced and absolutely not worth the three-hour drive we made to get there.

0/10 recommend. Save your money and go somewhere else. We left and stayed down the road by Pier 51 instead— a much better experience.

    Keystone State Park Campground

    They are working on it

Convenient to Tulsa, this large park has a variety of sites to choose from. It is evident they are making park upgrades with new bathhouses, paving and signs. They have not made improvements to the Lake Country sites. The pull through sites are very close together. The pad is pretty level but a couple of them are cracked and crumbling. Full hook ups are nice with 30/50 amp. The section near the pier seems like the sites are more spaced out. Large beautiful lake provides nice views. If you don’t like to hear trains, the campground is located close to the tracks (was ok for me ). Reservations are required and there is no check in system, just pull up to your site. There is a park office but check in isn’t required.

    Christ Outpost RV Park

    Nice Overnight Pull Through

Sweet 90 year old lady runs the park, just reopened after covid. Nice gravel pull through with water electric 30A and 50A and sewer for $20 cash or check only. Nothing fancy. Many full time trailers but the sites in the middle are available for short term rental. Doesn’t appear to have short term wifi internet.

    Spencer Creek

    Nice Getaway!

This campground is only 20 minutes from our home and we go here as a short getaway. We’ve been 3 times over the summer because it’s so close. There are sites on top of ridge overlooking Oolagah Lake. Site 10 is an accessible site. When you back in you have a nice view of lake from front window and living area of RV.

Sites 12, 14 & 15 are on ridge with views of lake and 17 is at bottom of hill with view of lake.

Park has a play area, trail, soccer field, boat ramp and short walk to beach area. We stayed in site 3 which is a spacious site and short walk to beach.

Mid October Oolagah Lake is in the path of Pelicans migrating south. When you camp mid to end of October the lake with be covered with a white layer of pelicans.

If you have accessible All Access Pass from National Park service you get a discount. We usually get 1/2 off. There are water spickets but not at individual sites. There is a dump station. 30 amps.

    Keystone State Park Campground

    Somewhat utilitarian but nice area

New weekend-- new lake! Took a couple of extra days and spent an extended weekend at Lake Keystone State Park about 30 minutes west of Tulsa.

The park has two campgrounds with full hookups... Green Country and Lake Country. The former has probably twice as many full hookup spots, but the latter is more picturesque. The view for most of Green Country is the boat shop and the marina. However, Lake Country campground overlooks a cove with easy access to the water. The park features a couple of trails that are good for walking, hiking, and running. Both are connected to the Lake Country campground and one of them will take you to the General Store near the park entrance. Don't expect to find groceries at the store but you can get ice, pop, candy, souvenirs, and ice cream bars.

Green Country campground features Pier 51 Marina. The marina store rents boats and tubes if you're looking for something to do on the water. In front of the store is the Pier 51 Cafe-- Winn's on the Water. Nice little restaurant with outside dining on the dock. Thursday nights are$1.50 tacos and$2 Tecates. Friday is karaoke night. And Saturday night usually features live music from local/regional artists.

The cove is pretty rocky but there is a swimming area and a couple of good areas to launch/land a kayak. The cove stays pretty calm since it's, well, a cove and due to it being a no wake zone because of the marina. If you head north on the water about a mile or so from the cove and go around the point you'll find a nice sandy beach across the way.

The Lake Country campground was clean and seemed to be taken care of well. Although, when we pulled in our site hadn't been swept or blown off and was covered in cotton from the cottonwood trees. The fully modern sites have nice, level concrete pads with picnic tables and grills. However, they are close together and the little strip of grass in between each site is kinda scrubby. Due to the small sites there aren't any fire rings by the pads but there is a community fire ring nearby. If you like more space and don't need sewer hookups then look at the sites closer to the water.

All in all, while the sites weren't perfect it was a nice campground and will probably warrant another trip.
