My Stay

Good… Mostly Shaded sites , bathrooms, general store, site grills…

Bad.. Only allows up to 14 days in tents ..with a 7 day off period in between.. No Swimming allowed.., a main road runs through the park so you do get the road noise.. Bring own firewood or buy from Attendents

Cash only accepted..

Fantastic lakeside camping

They have RV spots across the road from the lake, and tent spots right on the lake. Go to the building near the floating deck to check in. There was a little road noise, but it did not bother me.

Very simple

Only 8 RV sites with electric and water hook-ups. Small area with a bait shop at the lake. Fire rings and a lake view is about the extent of it. No hiking, tent camping etc… a cheap, simple place to relax and that’s it. $11 per night.

Not a big place to camp

Lake Sahoma has very few spots to camp and they are right off the main road so cars drive by often. If you love fishing, this is the lake for you. This lake is strictly for fishing. I guess you could kayak but there’s lots of trees in the water so you’d have to watch out for those. There a a few docks for fishing but you have to have a trout license. There is a area just up the road you can fish with a regular fishing license and be fine. They do drive by and check to see if you have a fishing license. I prefer places I can hike and play in the water so this isn’t really a lake for me.
