Roads and Pads were perfectly paved and level. Safe atmosphere with gated access. Highly recommend.
To enter the grounds you need a hunting/fishing license or a 3day wildlife conservation passport. The passport is for any activity on the grounds, excluding hunting or fishing and they are $51 currently.
Juniper point east is located on lake texoma right the the Texas Oklahoma board. On hwy 377 right before you go over the willus bridge. The location is amazing, quite and beautiful. Some sites are unleavened bit the view of the lake from all camp sites are amazing. There's a flock of Canadian geese that love to hang out at the camp ground, a boat dock and plenty of room to park boat trails.
Nice family campground close to ‘Little Niagara Falls’ where the kiddos can play in the Creek and falls. We went on weekend and it was very busy. No camp host but the NPS rangers were very active and responsive. No alcohol at this park. Within driving distance to lake nearby. Several camping areas closed during September within the Chickasaw National Recreation Area. Overall fun with lots of young families enjoying the outdoors.
Mary Hope, owner of this clean and beautiful park, has created a living space here that is simply wonderful. My wife and I love this park and never want to leave! Special mention to park manager, Teri, because she's also a fantastic human being.
My husband and I have been staying out here for the last few months and we just love it! The park is just beautiful and the owner is so kind. The manager is a gem too!
The water was amazing and clean. We went on a Tuesday so there wasn’t any one else there. We did some awesome exploring up and down the river. There was so many campsites and they were all well maintained and flat. There is a huge flashing sign going into the area telling every adult to have a fishing/hunting license. The fishing however is not good. We stayed for 3 days and fished the whole time with no luck. There’s a really neat little spot south of the dam with a rope swing.
bathrooms was very clean and wasn’t all hot and mucky was nice and cool in there. Very clean and love that it’s dog friendly. I suggest anyone to come with your friends and family have a nice day cooking, kicking back and playing some games
Make your reservations through the City of Pauls Valley. Don’t call. Keep a copy of your paid receipt (email) in case you’re asked. Host lives on site. Nice boat ramp. Great little beach area for swimming at the lake. Kayaks/lifevests/paddles available for rent. We will try that next visit.

Can’t beat this site for $29/night. The sites where we were at are a bit close together. It definitely would have been better to be further on the peninsula or at Cedar Cove or Elephant Rock But we were just happy there was a last-minute cancellation on their website allowing us to be here otherwise it was all booked up for the weekend (I just kept refreshing the booking page).
Bathrooms good. Access the water was close. Lake Murray is one of the more clear lakes in Oklahoma.
The golf course, which was beautiful & close, has super twilight hours (after 6pm) which made it very affordable $16pp w/cart.
Great visit. Will be back!
Sites arent all packed together so you get a little privacy compared to some other places ive stayed. Fairly close to the boat ramp

This was my first stop on a 4,000-mile trip from NW Arkansas to California and back. I met my brother and his wife who live just north of Fort Worth and spent two nights cooking and laughing around the campfire. The perfect start to an adventure.
The weather was cool and so not many bugs. Since this was a water-facing spot, I would consider the weather when booking. Great hikes. Don't forget to visit the tower while you're there.
Taught my two boys at 8 & 9 years old how to camp and fish there 31 years ago. Had many good times. Wish I could go back in time. 🥲 Did a lot of camping with the boys . Winter or fall was best. Large camp fire, many blankets. And a good tent. Still have my VCR tapes camping. . And the VCR player.😂😂 Would usually camp across the spill way 2nd area to the right. Also I'd recommend the last camping spot to the right at the very end you can walk down to the river and fish. Nice open area with trails to the river. Was always a Bass man but learned how to trout fish there. I would check when trout tournaments are going on. Gets very crowded. Wish I could go back in time. I've camped there when I was the only person camping. One of the things I didn't like was when camping trailers would come to camp . Sometimes you would hear their generators start up across the river but most of the time very nice and peaceful. I always camped across the river. Highly recommend this place for family and someone that just wants peace and quiet which is most of the time out there. Would recommend going during the week, weekends tend to get a little crowded summertime. swimming and fishing. Wildlife. Before entering the river I would stop at Scotty's bait shop which 30 years ago had great breakfast all the supplies you need and Scotty was a really really nice guy let me fish on his property when my boys were small because we weren't catching anything at the river hopefully he's been doing well. Just remember… take with you what you brought and a little extra that someone left. Keep it clean and nice for our future campers. The boys and I always brought shovel and toilet paper. At that time there was only one main brick bathroom. Usually too many hornets and wasp so we just dug a hole and buried it you know what I mean haha camping in the woods. Haven't been there in 20 plus years someday I'll go back set up a tent and reminisce. Hopefully it's still a nice place. Ed, from Wellston Oklahoma
Easily accessible about 5 miles off the interstate. We arrived late after 11pm, owner opened the gate and directed us to our site. Pad was level and hookups well placed. Took off early the next morning, free ice was a nice bonus!
Also noticed this would have been cheaper to book through roadtrippers
From Norman. This is my favorite lake and campsite super clean and nicely redone
All I can say is WOW, from the scenery, beautiful flowers display, to catch and release fishing to the adorable baby ducks this park is BEAUTIFUL! My husband and I absolutely love it here. Before arrival I spoke with Echo about what we needed in order to accommodate our stay and she was able to answer all our questions, upon arrival we met the sweetest young woman Taylor in the front office, she gave us all the information we needed, some history of the park and suggested restaurants and things to do locally. Brandon who informed us he did repairs and would be more then willing to help us as we are new to the RVing. The next morning we was having a minor cable issue(user error silly me) a gentleman name Anthony came to our site and had as ready to go in no time as the storms were coming in I wanted to be weather aware, as the day went on we was amazed by how much Anthony and the other gentleman outside did( I think his brother; they look a lot alike) to keep the park beautiful as well as helping anyone who stopped them throughout the day! 10/10 recommend this park and will be sharing with all my friends and family. Although, I didn’t get to meet Debra the manager this time during our stay, her staff spoke highly of her I believe she is doing a great job with the staff she has on hand. I am completely blown away and amazed with how much hospitality and joy this park brought us, you don’t see it much anymore. This park has such a homey feeling, the staff all seem like family and make you feel like you are apart of them. Keep up the good work red river rose you have definitely earned our business for many more years to come.
Camping areas are vast, but dirty with limited amenities. Have to fill up water at RV area. Scrambling and water areas are great though, lots of fun.
I was just passing through on a road trip and needing a cheap place to spend the night, but this was the kind of park I’d actually come back to and hang out in. The camp sites are spread out and clean. The lake views are beautiful. There are tons of activities like hiking, fishing, or paddle boarding.
nothing bad except for the occasional drunk family
I booked here for the FHU sites, but was not overly impressed. The Bois loop pull throughs, although paved, were severely sloped and hard to level. The hiking trails were not that great either. Convenient off 75.
The new park manager is very nice, very accommodating and helpful. Park is clean, great fishing off the dam, kayak, carry on boats, and such. The lake is absolutely beautiful, great for family outings and gatherings - there are fire pits for fires, picnic tables, and grills. Great place for the dogs as well, loved walking the dam.
Nice campground with level concrete pads (west side) and grave (east). Bathroom with showers, boat ramp and dump stations each side. There is a hiking trail and boat ramp on west side.
Gorgeous.
We stayed for an overnight with our 36’ trailer. It was easy to find and we chose the easiest spot to park. Our spot had a cement pad which was mostly level. The resort is well maintained and clean. Looks like a fun location with kids. Staff was polite and helpful.
Propane refill available on site (big plus).
Be ready for highway noise and the occasional train whistle.
