Stayed for free, but I really dont think it was supposed to be based on the county website… oops lol but the sheriff that passed by my tent paid us no mind. The sounds of the river were great, but ruined by the sounds of the vehicles going further south to the fishing and boat docks. About 1am is when the vehicles going by stopped until about 7am so that wasn't too fun. I would stay here again, but not in the middle of summer in a tent. It didn't get cold enough to sleep until 2am
Has electric and primitive both priced decent has nice tree coverage and is next to the river and has some spot where you can go in the river at
This campground is nice if you can get one of the few electric sites on the water. They have a water fill station and the playground is located in the middle of the loop so it's easily accessible to every site on the north loop. The south loop area is more like a field with parking spots and the "grass" is covered with burrs so dont make the mistake of walking outside without shoes
Oh boy does this site fill up fast. If you are to camp here come early. The site is only 3 dollars which is extremely cheap. The down side is that the sites are way too close together and at night other campers will wake you up. There are restrooms that aren't the cleanest. There's the usual table and fire ring
