We had a really tough visit for a family camping trip! we purchased these amazing attached camping tents that you can put a pop-up in between. We assembled our super tent and quickly realized that the wind was not going to allow us to do anything that we had planned. We then proceeded to have the…
This is a convenient place to stay close to the oceanfront if you’re going to be spending time along the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. They have lots of amenities as well as putt-put and several pools.
There are various sections and some of the higher priced sites are very well kept but the…
This is our home base camping resort. It’s a deeded membership that allows for 14 day stays with a single deed. We’ve stayed a few times prior to owning with friends who sponsored us. There are both paved and unpaved sites with full hookups, and tent sites that feature water and electricity. Bath…
We had a great time in Va Beach. I loved the camp ground and everyone was super friendly. The beach bus comes to the campground even though we did not use it. And they have a parking lot available for guests to use for no charge at the beach around 9 th street. We loved it.
Check in was easy, they escorted us to our site and helped us get settled. A stones throw to the beach. Clean and quiet.
Northlanding is a great campground!
The park has large sites that are paved. Plenty of parking and clean. The only problem is the the bar thats across the street, the music is extremely loud and the internet is is almost nonexistent.
Ended up coming here for the KOA customer appreciation weekend and very glad I made the trip out to the Outer Banks, great park and very cool surroundings.
When we first arrived, we thought this campground was amazing. Then we realized the bathhouse nearest to us was being renovated. It’s good it was being renovated, ultimately, but was a bummer for us, and left me wishing we had requested a different site closer to an open bathhouse.
Love this camp ground. Just love how clean it is. Bathrooms, showers are a big plus. Nice trails and fishing. Will be visiting again.

Such an amazing place. Very quiet, fishing pond, clean swimming pool, and gorgeous views.
We camped in site 364, deluxe patio pull thru. Concrete pad and fire pit, along w Trex style table and chairs were the perfect addition to the site. We used them all weekend. So much nicer than the traditional wooden picnic tables. Trolley runs every 20 mins or so to free beach area and along…

First let me say that I stayed in a tent. It’s still very warm at night. So bring a big fan.
Now on to the campground. The sites are big. They have a big driveway and offer plenty of room to spread out.
The restrooms/showers are very nice! Very clean, offer great privacy and the air…
The sight had a great view of the water and for sunsets, the sunrise was a 5 min walk across the road with the beach right there as well. Walking distance to pretty much anywhere (they also have bike rentals if you so wished)
We only stayed here a couple nights. Not a bad campground. It had gorgeous views and the kids liked the sound. This campground is best if you plan to stay a week or so. It’s not close to anything or any lighthouses. They do have a boat ramp so if you plan to camp and fish this would be a great…
