We passed through here during our cross county travels. The staff was super helpful and nice. The lake was absolutely perfect for swimming and cooling off. We even got to see some bald eagles as we floated on the lake. The showers and bathrooms were clean and there was even hot water. The campsites…
Very clean and well maintained. Best bathrooms we’ve ever seen in a resort/campground. Staff is great, even though they are still no contact check in as of July 2021. We pulled up at 1 and our paper was waiting. Very easy in and out, large long spots, with great yard for each spot. Three dogs…
This is a nice little spot to camp. Took the family out for the weekend and enjoyed it.
We stayed at J.C Cooper Campground at Satterwhite Point Area 2.
The site was near the water with very nice lake views right from the tent.
Great for swimming, kayaking, SUP, and other water activities.
The nearest grocery store (Food Lion) was about 15 minutes drive from our…

I've only camped here twice, both times on Memorial Day weekend. Our campground was in the JC Cooper campground area. I think that this isn't fair to this campground because each time its just been too dang busy. I assume that on a non holiday weekend it wouldn't be nearly as bad as when I've been.…
Great campground with access to the lake and the sites are spacious.
This was our "shakedown" trip with our new RV. We found the campground to be very accommodating: 30A/50A electrical, and clean water. The lake was just steps away from our site. We went mid-week, so the campground was not completely filled. The bath house was clean and had plenty of room.
This is a place considered last resurse. Not many sites and most of that is the long time residents lives here. They have few spots fool hook-up
This is a very good place to camp. Beach on lake as well as a pool. Very quiet with many full time residents. Most spots reserved for the summer.
This was my first time ever visiting Eno River State Park. My partner and I camped at Fanny’s Ford at one of the primitive sites. The sites are well spaced but not a lot of privacy. We didn’t mind and everyone was cordial. On Friday there were a few logs left for campers at the entrance to the…
We camped with a few other families at the group camp site. It was lovely. Great shade and perfect water for kids, the red mud is so much easier to wash off than sand! Bugs weren’t too bad. The electrical outlet was only in the bathroom which was a challenge but clean water was accessible all…
Being from Missouri and moved to North Carolina I spent a week here and it has been so far one of the best places for fishing.
Nice newly renovated shower house . Nice visitors center. Several easy trails. Helpful staff. Firewood available. Love the tall trees, the river, the swim area.
It's one of the most beautiful places I've stayed at. The snack bar and store is a bonus
Amazing trail in the triangle
