Stayed in the family campground in a travel trailer. Longish bike ride or shortish drive to the main park. Used a fan in the trailer to block out the sound of traffic with the exception of some sports cars/ motorcycles speeding loudly.
Good campground. Good hiking, clean, close facilities and well maintained. Lake is great and only a short walk, but no swimming. Sites are open and fairly close would be only negative.
First off, I want to start by saying I have never seen a campground with bathrooms that were so clean! They have a schedule that they clean them like 4 times a day! Each campsite has water and electric hookups for only $42 a night! The rangers were super helpful in the office, they sell wood,…
Flat ground, sand, dirt, moss, leaves. Enough space for 2-3 tents. Lots of trees for hammocks. Wheelchair accessible picnic table. Fire ring. First time I have seen roaches in the wild. Water spigot down the road a bit. Close campsites, no privacy. Close to the parkway, constant road noise. Okay…

We were in spot C2. Very spacious and located directly across from the bathroom facility. Campsite is all sand making it hard not to track into our RV. Large fire ring with cooking rack. Firewood avaikable for purchase at the office for $10. Large dump station makes it easy to get your rig in and…
This campground is very well taken care of
Just give me a parking spot and some privacy and I'm good. Cheesequake has just enough space between sites and the foliage gives you the personal space you need. Facilities are fair for what the cost is, the alternative is a $160 hotel room. By the way... Rained the whole time we we're there and…
Finally after the closure during covid the campgrounds open memorial day. 7 miles of ocean and bay side beaches, historic buildings, and walking trials. Carry in carry out rules apply, don't be that person!

Plenty to do over a 2 night stay. Archery, boating, fishing, and hiking. Boat rental rates are acceptable and there are four different styles to choose from. Campsites are roomy with electric and water hookups. They don't have primitive campsites so your stuck paying the higher rate even though you…

Good for first timers or booking multiple sites for a bigger group but not secluded.
I love that they have pull thru rv sites. They also have a lake with boat rentals!
This is an off-grid camping experience. You can use your generator at certain hours. Theu have a beach. Their staff is friendly. I love going here.
This is my second attempt at posting a review here. I am not a fan of camping "resorts," so keep that in mind if you are looking for an incorporated waterpark, theater, etc.. The spacing is perfect, even packed you have space and privacy. The views are amazing. Plenty of trails, plenty to do near…
