The best part of this campground was the location! Close to downtown Santa Fe. The staff & guests did wear masks & social distanced. We were traveling with an RV and a suv/tent set up, & appreciated that we could get the largest pull through RV spot ($64) and bunker down together. The grounds and restrooms could use a little TLC to take it to the next level. Pup friendly, too!
We were very disappointed and only stayed one night. Campsites were cramped to the point that our neighbor’s picnic table was approximately 3 feet from ours. The website stated that they were only operating at 50% capacity. Probably not the best choice if you are trying to social distance during these times.
This seemed to be one of the better KOA grounds I’ve been to. There were a lot of trees and the place was super clean. The shop was well stocked and pleasant. The only con was how close the sites were to one another. It felt like we were on top of one another but everyone was friendly and respectful!
Los Suenos rv Park is located in the hustle and bustle of Santa Fe. If you're not sure you will drive right by and not even see it. If you do manage to find it nice little park with full hookups laundry and shower facilities but that's it. All cell carriers seem to work just fine here.
Stopped by this KOA to see what it offered for possible future stays. It's a compact campground that provides pull through sites as well as back-in and tent sites. They offer everything from 50 amp electric to cable TV. Sites are clean and neat. There's a dog park for your pets. Bathrooms are clean with hot showers. They have cabins available as well.
Great location for exploring Sandra Fe, Bandelier, and other national monuments.
This was a great location to explore the city and the staff was really nice. The bathrooms are clean and the laundry facility is nice as well. However, there really isn't anything super special about the park. The sites are pretty close together, but this is to be expected if you want to stay close to a city. If we were passing through we would definitely consider this park again for the convenience. However, if you don't have errands or things you want to do in town I'm sure you could find more scenic spots outside of town. Also, this isn't far from Meow Wolf - a super interesting experience!!
