I have been coming up to the White Mountains since I was a kid. Rainbow campground has been our go-to spot for camping. There are 3 loops that are FCFS. The rest of the sites are reservations. The sites all have picnic tables and fire rings. There are full bathrooms throughout the area and pay…

Love the hot springs, great hosts, calm, and not too many people.
Can get cold at night if you are in a tent, bring warm clothing
About 10 designated sites around a loop. The sites are set up as to where you pull/back your vehicle/camper into the site. There is a picnic table. The site itself is compacted gravel. There is an area at each site where you can set up tent(s) on dirt. Very little to no shade so suggest you bring a…
We're frequent campers, and this is one of our favorite spots in AZ!
The tent-only campground is small, but the sites are large and have multiple great clearings for tents. Lots of shade and easy paths for walking around the grounds, plus there's potable water at several sites. Central…

This place was amazing friendly people and quiet campers. Great place to disconnect from life for awhile.
I arrived on a Sunday afternoon in mid May. There were a few campers, but less than half full. Temp was 69. Running water and pit toilets, very clean.
Quiet, free, small campground. No individual marked sites. Paved parking lot with wooded area. Water is available and clean pit toilet.
Small campground not where dirt says, but it's marked with a sign and right along the road. Free, clean pit toilet, didn't see water, picnic tables, good for all except the bigger rigs. Shaded, near road but little traffic.
We are traveling in a Mercedes Sprinter camper. Great location for a must see visit to the Cave dwellings. Most camping in the valley is free but this is worth the fee for the hot springs and the owners, who are very welcoming. Also the Hot Springs gives you a chance to swap travel and life tips…
Great spot about 1.5 to 2 hours north of Silver City. It’s right on the Gila River. Plenty of spots. No designated spots but most have a fire pit. The road up to the campsite is pretty curvy. Probably not ideal for campers but we saw some there so it can be done. (Also we drove up in the middle of…
6 mile dirt road that was in good condition passable with a car and trailer. 11 large private sites, 2 single unisex vault toilets, we stayed for 4 days and the toilets were not cleaned and no paper. No water available. Not very busy, 3 out of 11 sites occupied. Nice hiking available but no…
The rangers came by to let us know info about the water table and answered all our questions about attractions nearby.
Warning if you have glampers....the road is beautiful and windy and long travel.. there’s no reception for 30 miles...
Great place to go during the summer you can swim and fish at your camp site. The vegetation was dry and dead, not as green as it would be. Not the right time of year..

We pulled into this site after a long day on motorcycles. Sites were easily accessible and our site had some flat ground and a fire ring. There were quite a few people there and we did not feel at all secluded in nature but, honestly, we didn’t mind the company and everyone was far enough away that…
