Kayaking and fishing draw campers to El Caso I-IV Campground, which sits in Apache National Forest near Quemado Lake and gives direct trail access from the campsites to the water's edge. The campground has pull-through sites with room to spread out, and two or three other rigs sharing the area is typical. No pets are allowed. Toilets, firewood, and trash service are on-site. Nearby, El Caso Throwdown Campground and Piñon Campground provide additional options along the same stretch of shoreline. The campground stays open year-round, though snow is possible in early spring, making it a reasonable base for paddlers and anglers working the lake across multiple seasons.
