We are a small campground with beautiful new bathhouses and hookups for RV's. All tent sites have water and electric. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. All the sites are a short walk to the bath houses and laundry. We have rebuilt the campground over the last few years and everything is new. We stay here a couple of times a year. It is our first stay of the season and our last. Very quiet, sites are large and staff is friendly. I am disappointed that the new owners have changed the campground to seasonal instead year round. My children are grown but would think not much for them to do there. For children I would think Clearwater campground across the street would be better. (Same owners)

Pro: cabins are on a remote lake. Perfect for star gazing! Rustic but comfy (beds) cabins. Bring all your own stuff. No electricity, so no lights. Our cabin had a steep path. Others did not.

My family and friends were drawn to this campground for its exciting pool and convenient location, and those aspects definitely lived up to expectations. However, our campsite was not level, and the sites were very close together with little privacy. We were tent camping but the area we were in, while a tent site, is best for RVs.
The bathroom facilities could also use some attention– a loose toilet and a broken hand dryer weren't ideal. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but these conditions kept it from being great.

2 pools, golf carts for rent, nice new sites. Not much shade where we were so bring umbrellas/shades. The store is well stocked, the employees are all super nice, fun activities for the kids like the wibit lake jumping obstacle course, 2 swimming pools, canoeing, and TONS of add-on activities like tie-dying, hay rides etc and you can have their mascot deliver donuts to your campsite on certain days. Very nice clubhouses. Full hookups. The list goes on and on!

We had a great time here camping with our kids and grandkids. River is not much to look at but the pool was great and there were great events like foam parties, DJ at the pool, pancake breakfast and live music to name a few. Staff were friendly and helpful.

LegendThis was my first time staying at Bear Brook, it's an easy campground to get to, once you get to the west gate it's about a 4-mile drive to the campground, if you're coming from the east it's about 1.5 miles.
The first impression was impressed by the size and how organized everything was. Check-in was easy, then driving to my site (#7) took a minute.
That's when I realized the sites were 4' apart in the section I was staying in. Other sites on each end are further apart.
The campground has a beach, a playground, a Ball field, and a store. The roads are all easy to drive on but narrow.

I was on a long road trip and only stayed a few days mainly to see the nearby Maine hotspots - Kennebunkport and Portland. The campground is not fancy, but clean and well maintained. Many of the sites were used by long-term campers, which turns the campground into a nice little neighborhood - everyone I greeted waved or said hello. I travel solo, and felt very safe.

The seven maple trees that greeted guests may be gone, but not the spirit of the campground. Staff were helpful and cheerful along with the chain saw carved bears that greeted me. A very nice shady campground with clean bathhouses - one with a moose guarding the entry - and common areas.

This campground is pretty big, sprawled out with lots to do, like tubing, cornhole, arcade, pools with slide and more. Customers service was great both at check in as well as later when getting wood delivered. Sites are descent and bathrooms are nice and modern. I would recommend this campground to my friends and family and will come back.

We really enjoyed our stay here - we prefer tent camping and like to be secluded; we are not into RV parks. This was fantastic. Beautiful trails, excellent kayaking, quiet and serene. We will revisit again soon.

Pine ridge is my go to campground. It’s peaceful and quiet all the time. While not an adult only campground, it’s mostly comprised of adults only. The owners Dan and Jane are the seeetest people you will ever meet. This is my absolute favorite place to go in the summer camping months!!
