Ashland New Hampshire Jellystone Park

Water enthusiasts will find direct river access at this seasonal campground, which operates from late May through mid-October along the Pemigewasset River. The facility accommodates RVs up to 48 feet with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer connections, plus amenities like WiFi, showers, and a dump station.

The campground underwent a management change in recent years, transitioning from its former Jellystone Park branding to Adventure Bound Camping operations. Reviewers consistently mention the proximity to major roadways, which creates ongoing traffic noise from trucks and passing vehicles. Karen notes the "beautiful river access" and describes sites as tight, with management maximizing capacity by fitting in as many spots as possible.

Site conditions vary significantly across the property. One reviewer experienced severely uneven RV pads that required extensive leveling. The atmosphere tends toward the lively side rather than quiet, with minimal enforcement of noise restrictions. Children's activities include playground equipment and water features, though safety fencing along the road receives mixed reviews from parents.

For those exploring the broader White Mountains region, places to camp near Ashland provide additional options. Reserve ahead during peak summer months, as the combination of water access and full hookups draws steady bookings despite the road noise factor.

Now operating as Adventure Bound Camping, the facility offers activities kids enjoy but has notable challenges. Campers regularly cited noise from highway traffic and crowded conditions, with several guests reporting uneven sites and rising costs for amenities.

We use to love this place

It has now changed to adventure bound campground, and personally they took the fun right out of it, new height limits on water slides, my kids went down it 3 years ago and now can’t ?! Also golf carts almost 100$ a day to rent !! That went WAYYY UP, push cars used to be free now you pay for every half hour ! It’s just the small things adding up. They took away the yogi bears (obviously) but its truly missed, I feel as if I could be better again if they reconsidered but who knows

Unlevel, loud, and unsecure.

This is one of the worst places I have stayed. The RV site was so uneven. It was rowdy and loud. The highway is close by so there was a lot of noise from trucks and cars. There was no security gate and one playground was near the road. There was a flimsy, broken-down fence to 'protect the children'. We will never stay here again.

Now Adventure Bound

This used to be a Jellystone, but it’s changed names and things are different for sure. My kids loved it - but mostly because there were no real strict rules and they had a blast. If you’re looking for quiet - this isn’t the place. Tight sites and they jam in as many as possible. That said - beautiful river access, fun pool, we had fun with our group!

Our children will remember this place forever.

I will say with Sadness that this camping site has moved. It is now called Adventure Bound Camping , which broke our hearts when we drove up for a day trip. So I hope this helps anyone who is looking for a Yogi bear campsite. There is one in Glen Ellis NH that we are going to check out. But I will post a happy photo of us at the one that was inAshland NH.

ENJOY CAMPING SEASON!
