Tough year for flooding

July 2023 was not kind to this campground. Flooding and closures were problematic at times but staff made things easier to deal with. Sites are average size and close together. Not a lot of privacy. Clean level site with fire ring. Worth the trip all the same.

UGH

SEVEN night minimum for in season waterfront sites. RIDICULOUS. LOVE this place, but can't see booking SEVEN nights when I just want to come to the site that I've been on for the past 3 years for Labor Day weekend. Are you out of your minds? SEVEN nights? It's CAMPING, not a vacation in Can Cun!

It's nice for the saco

This is a great camp ground if you're planning to just eat sleep and float. They have lots of things to do for kids though

Great Campground To Tube The Saco

We booked this site during the Independence Day holiday. It was wicked hot, but being right on the river made it easy to jump in and cool down. Our site was a good size, but in a tucked away dead end area of the campground. Part of the area we were in seemed to be a bit of a dumping ground for wood and ash cleaned up from sites. There was also a path down to the river for tubing close by. There is also a great big beach right on the Saco River that was excellent! At night they did wagon rides around the campground which our little ones really enjoyed. Not a bad campground overall, while it bills itself as family friendly it also very much a place to come and party.

Great Long Beach on The Saco

Cute campground with nice owners. Sites are small but baby have a covered picnic table. Great location with easy ride to all North Conway attractions. Nice hay ride and playground. The beach is sandy and lots of room to spread out. We visited Story Land and Mt. Washington during our stay.

Just okay now!

We used to come here every year but move on since. It’s been 7 years & we came back for Columbus Day weekend for an overnight. Maybe it was just this weekend but it was pricey at $45 per night. I’ll start with the bad first. The site are very close to each other. If you fart, all surrounding site will here you. Rain, yep, when it rains it floods the sites near the bathroom toward the beginning of the entrance. Big RV will have trouble maneuvering in here because it is tight. On to the good. Each site (except beach) has a wood canopy, picnic bench, electrical, water spigot & designated fire pit. Bathrooms are close to every site. The beaches along the Saco river is awesome but they took away the cliff jumps and put boulders there. I think the rope swings are still there. We used to stay here long term but now it just ehh. Funny fact: NH law says you can’t burn wood from out of state. But the wood that they sell is from Maine. LOL

Great for the Saco

This is a nice little campground if you're doing the Saco, has a nice bath house, has a bunch of campsites, a good store that has everything that you might have forgotten! The river is right there and you can splash around in it

Great Family Campground

Eastern Slope is a very friendly campground.  The site's are not very private, but that is hard to come by if looking for a camp ground with amenities.   This Camp ground has 2 Beaches on the Saco!  I could see the ball field from my site and was very happy as my 7 year old wanted to play with the kids and we could see him.

We cant wait to go back.

Very nice sites! Two beaches!

This campground was really nice. Sites were large and level. Many large trees created a lot of shade. A large wooden shelter stood over our picnic table, with a decent amount of space next to it for tents or a small camper. All the sites around us had the same setup, but they have several types and sizes of sites available. The place was packed and the sites not separated by much, so it was easy to hear the neighbors. All our neighbors were respectful of quiet time, so it wasn't an issue. Dogs are allowed in the campground and even on one of the two beaches. We went to the dog beach, which was clean and large. The river was awesome. The showers and bathrooms were the nicest I've seen in a campground. Great place and I'd stay here again.
