Danish Alps offers Electric Plus, Electric, Basic and Equestrian Electric Plus campsites.

Danish Alps has 34 gravel pads with electrical hookups and two ADA cement pads with electrical hookups, as well as seven gravel pull-through pads with electrical hookups and one ADA cement pull-through pad with electrical hookups. Electrical campsites are both Electric Plus and Electric campsites. Additionally, Danish Alps offers an equestrian campground with 26 gravel pads that are Electric Plus and three ADA-accessible cement pads with electrical hookups. There are also 22 Basic camping sites. Campers have access to water, modern restrooms and showers.

Camping reservations are available for half of the electrical campsites. All other camping is all first-come, first-served campers register their nightly camping fees in a raised, locked box called an Iron Ranger. Self-service envelopes are provided at each Iron Ranger station. Check or cash only. Iron Rangers are generally located near the park entrance or in the campground area. On-site camping informational signs are provided to help guide campers with the self-registration process.

An equestrian campground offers 14 horse corrals, hitching posts and water. A scenic horse trail encircles most of the lake.

Another unbeatable attractions is Scotts Bluff National Monument. Home to marvelous rock formations high above the Platte River, the landmark is an important monument to Native Americans and settlers who have crossed the Oregon, California, and Mormon Trails. After appreciating the beauty of Scotts Bluff, make your way to Chimney Rock in Bayard. This remarkable rock spire is one of Nebraska’s main natural attractions and historical sites, having played an important role in both Native American and pioneering history.

Lewis and Clark held council with the Yankton Sioux near the site of this KOA next to the Missouri River. The campground is located in Yankton, where history abounds! This KOA, with RV Sites and Tent Sites, as well as Cabins and Deluxe Cabins, is next door to the NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Complex, that includes archery ranges, a museum and NFAA headquarters. At this facility, you can hone your skills at indoor, outdoor, 3-D and Olympic archery (equipment available for rent). At the campground, you can relax and unwind, cool off at the pool and have fun playing horseshoes, sand volleyball or basketball. Join the kids on the Jumping Pillow or playground. Fido will enjoy the dog park too! Six miles west, at Lewis and Clark Lake, you'll find opportunities for boating, sailing, fishing, Jet Skiing and kayaking, as well as swimming and sunbathing, on miles of beaches.
