Best RV Parks & Resorts near Proctor, MT

I lucked into this site due to the local state parks being booked up and the friendly advice of a campground host. This is a private, tribal run campground about half way up the eastern shore of Flathead Lake. This well run and clean campground has lots to offer- separate dry sites from RV hook up sites, showers, a boat ramp/marina, lodges for tribal activities, sites right on the lake, swimming docks, and ice at the entrance. My site is right on the lake! The only down side is that while there are some trees and shrubs, there isn’t much privacy and sites are pretty small. All sites have the standard picnic table and fire pit, and there are some water spigots and trash cans scattered around the campground. In the evening the sea gulls start circling the campsites looking for handouts or opportunities to snag some free food, so watch your food when you start to cook (and after!).

Super-friendly family RV park near the western edge of Glacier National Park. When I say friendly, I mean really friendly. After spending the whole day driving on the "Going to the Sun" road through the park and not finding any spots open, we ended up at San Suz Ed (now called Moose Creek RV Park) which was also full, but they had a large empty field nearby that they allowed for overflow tent camping for $30+.

Showers, laundry, toilets all on-site. Full hookups for RVs. Tasty small cafe in main building where we had breakfast. While the sites are nothing special, the friendliness is the real charm of the place.

Stayed here as part of a 12 day vacation. Nice small rv park just behind a hotel which muffled the street noise a bit. I'd say 40% ish of the park is long term residents, but they were all friendly and stoped by to talk and talk about our rig. The couple who run it are incredibly nice. We were about 75 yards from the showers/bathroom which was nice. This was the first time for us to stay in an RV site with the roof top tent which we took advantage of with an electric heater and blanket for the nights. It was needed because it was high 30's in the mornings. The Glacier Nation Park gate was about 25 miles away. There were a ton of great restaurants and shops near by. I'd highly recommend stopping by the Army Navy Surplus store next to the rv park! I could see if your towing a fifth wheel or have a long setup this location could be a tight squeeze. Ohhhh yeah there is this town siren that goes off every night at 10p sharp...there is a reason behind this with some history, pretty cool...I'll let you look into that!!
