Glacier HipCamp (6 mins to West Glacier National Park) 🏕️

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Reservations are available at this drive-in campground in Coram, Montana, with nightly rates ranging from $30 to $100 depending on site type. Situated roughly six minutes from the West Glacier entrance to Glacier National Park, it draws visitors who want a base close to the park without committing to campgrounds inside it. Sites are spacious, and the grounds include a pond with kayaks and a rowboat, a gazebo area, and a homemade zipline, giving families and groups reasons to linger on-site between park days. Nearby alternatives include Sundance Campground & RV Park and Glacier Under Canvas for campers weighing options in the corridor.

Reviewers consistently flag cleanliness as a standout feature, with the restrooms drawing specific praise across multiple visits. Cell service is good on-site. Deer, chipmunks, and dragonflies have been spotted around the grounds, and the terrain mixes forested and open areas near a creek. Kendra F. describes it as "a cute little spot that feels secluded without being too far from anything." A local grocery store and a recreation center are both within a short drive, which matters when resupplying after a full day in the park.

The campground is big rig friendly, provides drinking water, firewood, and picnic tables, and allows pets and campfires. It works well for families, couples, and RV travelers who want reliable amenities and a maintained property as a launching point for Glacier National Park.

Stellar Stay!

Absolutely gorgeous campground, with so much space and fun things to do. The gazebo/pond area was a tranquil little spot to read a book while lying in the hammock. Jake took the time to chat to me and gave me an oil change recommendation despite being in the middle of working. These guys really care about their campground and the amount of love that’s put into it is obvious.

I must mention the restroom. It’s spotless. It. Does. Not. Smell. 😂 Extremely convenient to Glacier National Park, and some other fun places like Flathead Lake.

Saw some deer and lots of cute lil chipmunks and dragonflies.

Highly recommend!

Beautiful + convenient + welcoming + cared for = AWESOME

Could not have asked for a better place to base our short-but-sweet visit to Glacier National Park earlier this month. The grounds are lovely & well situated. The sites themselves and the campground amenities (ie the outhouse restrooms) are kept clean and in good working order; the gazebo area near the pond is amazing esp if you have kids: grassy area to play, access to kayaks and a rowboat, and even a homemade zipline(!). Sites are well spaced and beautifully cared for by Jake and his family, who greeted us with freshly made lemonade and made all of us feel super welcome. The location is very convenient, just a few minutes drive to the West Glacier entrance to the park, minutes from a local grocery store and down the road from a fun center (!) with some cool non-park activities for kids and grown-ups who might need a little “break” from nature. :-) We would highly recommend and hope to return one day soon!

Love it!!❤️❤️

A wonderful slice of heaven. Spacious campsites with newer picnic tables, awesome toilets, and a pond with boats!!!! We’re able to hang out at the campground and hike and boat and then go into the park at 3pm after the pass restriction. If your going to glacier park, stay here!❤️🏕
