Cheap campground in Kalispell

The campground was alright…don’t know if it would make top of our list. Staff was friendly. Site was inexpensive. Bathrooms were a 7 out of 10. I think the permanent and semi permanent residents put a damper on the feel of the park for us…Our site was right by a lot of them.

Rented Grinnell Cabin to Avoid the Cold!

Grinnell Cabin is set on the eastern edge of the campground and on the edge of a beautiful meadow.

The full moon rose over the meadow and the sunrise was magical the next morning.

The cabin could've slept four and was equipped with a mini fridge, fan, heater, and microwave.

Clean and Friendly

Found this place on the way to Glacier. Just an overnight for us but would have easily stayed longer. Clean bathrooms, friendly staff. We met a couple nice neighbors and everyone seemed friendly. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Great Place

All the campgrounds near Glacier were filled so headed for this one in Kalispell. Much cheaper stay than nearer Glacier. Clean and neat. We didn’t mind the 45 min drive to the park and were still able to go there and enjoy. I’m happy we discovered this campground

Beautiful Campground

We were there 5 nights. Very clean and quiet. Reasonably priced. Convenient to shopping and Glacier National Park. Laundry room was spotless. $1.50 for washer and 50 cents for 8 min on dryer. Nice dog park. Sites are nicely spaced. All hookups worked. Didn’t use bathrooms or showers. Trash dumpsters were conveniently placed around the park. Small store seemed to have all the essentials. Owners weren’t too awfully friendly and seemed to be inconvenienced when you came in for something. But would definitely stay again.

Beautiful, easy location

We were unaware that the city of Kalispell had a no overnight parking ordinance and got kicked out of our Walmart spot (even though we asked the service desk as always). It was a good thing though because if not we would have missed this gorgeous park.

We stayed one night but the view we got was spectacular! The park was paved all the way through and had nice level gravel sites. Our kids took advantage of the large playground and we used the laundromat as well. We would definitely come back for a longer stay.

Nice FHU Site in Kalispell

After boondocking for a long while we wanted a FHU site to enjoy the A/C and flush the tanks. This park is out of town and offers nice amenities. Good Verizon cell signal and close to all the area attractions; Kalispell, Whitefish, Columbia Falls, & Glacier NP. We were assigned a pull through (07) that offered decent space between sites and had lots of shade trees.

Rocky Mountain “Hi” campground

Great mature campground tall trees for shade pool Throughs back in full hook ups or partial hook ups. A creek with a swimming hole and a new addition to the park there’s not much shade but still Full hook ups in that part of the park. Nice laundry facility and bathrooms with showers if you don’t have hook ups. The owners are real nice and helpful. The only problem we had was they ran out of ice due to the heat in the local area and not enough employees at the ice factory to make deliveries. You could still get ice at the major grocery stores.

Shade, swimming, park & laundry

We used today as a catch up day. We’re on the road for over a month and this was an unscheduled day. We happened upon Rocky Mtn Hi and the kids and I love it. The kids could play all day in the great park with a whole western town set up and swimming hole in the creek, volleyball net amd paved roads to scooter and roller blade. I did laundry in their huge laundry facility. Super clean showers in the bathhouse and very friendly staff. We have site 5 in the trees for great shade and proximity to all the things. I met a few long term residents and others just passing thru - everyone has been super friendly.

Clean and quiet

It was a nice stay for a couple days. Showers and bathroom were clean and front desk was very nice. Seems like more people live there than visit though. Tent sites were very small and bunched together. Price was descent.

45 mins to Glacier

Great place to camp with children because of the large, grassy playground and swimming area. Showers and a laundry are on site. Sites have trees and a fire ring. Pull through sites are available.
