We picked this park for convenience while having travel trailer brake issues. Came at close of season, and thankful for a later evening check in. A little disconnect to obtain a bathroom Code. Fortunately we saw camp hosts walking dogs to gain access. Dog friendly, including nice gated area for off leash.
Old lady was sweet to us, I saw the reviews about her being not so sweet but she was nice and got us in last minute. The gentleman brought us a whole tractor full of wood and was nice as well. Trees were down like other reviews stated, they mentioned they had a massive storm. Not something I feel they should be judged for, they were concerned about my kids and asked them to keep away from the left side because of that.
Reserved this deamy site right on the water. Tent 1 is closest to parking but has the most traffic going by to the other sites.
Pit toilet nearby and a quick drive to flushable toilets. Showers available with tokens from the camphost ($3 for 6 minutes) but camphost weren't around when I was looking so no personal experience here.
This campground was very cute. The owners were so friendly and accommodating. The resident cat Poncho was a hot with our kids. The showers were small, but we're hot and free! The lawn was great with a communal fire pit and small playground. They let travelers camp there for 12 per person per night in a tent if that's what you're looking for. The cafe was cute and the drinks were delicious. We didn't eat, but it looked good! I would stay here again foe sure.
Nice large tent sites. They also have a geodesic dome you can rent. Website was not set up yet.
Absolutely love this campground. They were so accommodating when we booked a site our unit wouldn’t fit on they gladly moved us.
If you aren’t right on the water, you’re definitely a short distance away.
The amenities are great and the camp hosts are always friendly. Definitely worth staying here.
This is a cute little camp site. We were right next to the river which was amazing. But some of the sites are for permanent residents, which feels weird. They have a laundry room, showers and bathrooms. Not the cleanest. But do the trick. A little road noisy. But loved the attention to the flowers and the grounds.
I stayed here in December of last year over the holidays and had a great experience. The manager, Paige, was awesome. Very accommodating and nice. The check-in experience was quick and easy and the spot was great. My family and I had a great time and plan on coming back in the future. Town was close by and we were able to see all the destinations we wanted to nearby.
We stayed for 2 weeks this summer and loved everything about our stay. The park was very clean and well maintained and the manager was lovely. You can tell she loves her job. The park is very conveniently located, only 15 minutes from Glacier and a short walk to town. We had dinner at Gunsight Saloon and picked up fresh steaks from Perfect Cuts Specialty Meats. Bathrooms and showers we better than expected and the park wasn't full of noisy families.
Owners were very accommodating, we snuck in on their closing weekend to visit glacier national park. The showers were clean and hot, owners were courteous and so nice. And the view of the sunset from the lakeshore is amazing!
We had a space near the dog play area which is very nice. Local employees come in the evening for talk and dog play-nice people and nice dogs. Great wifi laundry and showers. Room for big rigs. There is road noise
We had an amazing time here! The views can’t be beat and to have adult saunas and hot tubs is 👍🏼👍🏼! The on-site restaurant was good, drinks from the airstream were excellent and the nightly live music was great! Proximity to the park and shopping in Kalispell or Whitefish was close too! We’d definitely visit again!
A spacious place among the trees, clean toilets. Besides, it is located between a main road and a railway that passes with high frequency. There is not much to do there, just the middle of the road. Because of the proximity to the glacier it costs a lot, and in any case it is not worth the price compared to other places.
Great place. Well-kept, clean and tidy. The staff helps with everything needed. There is space for walking around and grass for children's games and just sitting in front of the view of the forest. Although a bit expensive, these are the prices around Glacier.
We stayed in site F16. It is close to the main lodge and the cafe.
The showers and bathrooms were very clean.
The campground is about 1 mile from the west entrance of glacier park!
Great place to stay! Simple and nothing fancy, but kept up and owner is super nice. He seemed to always be running around tending to people arriving and working on maintenance.
It was a quick drive to get to west entrance of Glacier (especially early in the am when you dont have a reservation) and reasonably priced. He has juneberries on property and let me pick them. They were everywhere. Got a couple of good breakfast smoothies and a lot of local spots with Huckleberry items.
Absolutely gorgeous campground, with so much space and fun things to do. The gazebo/pond area was a tranquil little spot to read a book while lying in the hammock. Jake took the time to chat to me and gave me an oil change recommendation despite being in the middle of working. These guys really care about their campground and the amount of love that’s put into it is obvious.
I must mention the restroom. It’s spotless. It. Does. Not. Smell. 😂 Extremely convenient to Glacier National Park, and some other fun places like Flathead Lake.
Saw some deer and lots of cute lil chipmunks and dragonflies.
Highly recommend!
Clean bathrooms and showers. Friendly staff. The landscaping and flowers are lovely. Live music every night during peak season - so don’t stay here if you want something quiet. Beer , ice cream and restaurant on site.
We stayed in an Rv site with a tent site. It was perfect for our 3 generations of campers. The grandkids loved the pool and the Gaga ball pit. Kids loved the music each night. Grandparents liked the tie die and ice cream shop! We loved the proximity to the west gate of Glacier. The park is very well kept. We used laundry and showers.
Great place to soak up in the hot springs. They have a huge variety of separate pools to choose from. $35 for tent spot and $14 per person to soak in their hot spring pools. Beautiful views all around.
Perfect for park or visiting Whitefish. Area was clean.
Place very friendly clean showers bathroom are clean .
We really liked this campground. Sites are shady. The cafe serves a good quality and imaginative menu. Hang out at the lodge for WiFi. Staff and other campers were very nice. Only negatives were loud music from a neighboring campground and only 4 showers for each sex for a pretty large campground. Still, the showers were included in the price, so that’s nice.
Could not have asked for a better place to base our short-but-sweet visit to Glacier National Park earlier this month. The grounds are lovely & well situated. The sites themselves and the campground amenities (ie the outhouse restrooms) are kept clean and in good working order; the gazebo area near the pond is amazing esp if you have kids: grassy area to play, access to kayaks and a rowboat, and even a homemade zipline(!). Sites are well spaced and beautifully cared for by Jake and his family, who greeted us with freshly made lemonade and made all of us feel super welcome. The location is very convenient, just a few minutes drive to the West Glacier entrance to the park, minutes from a local grocery store and down the road from a fun center (!) with some cool non-park activities for kids and grown-ups who might need a little “break” from nature. :-) We would highly recommend and hope to return one day soon!
If you like camping stacked tent to trailer, this is your place. I can't believe how many sites they crammed into this small area.
Not the most luxurious camp site, but was great for tent camping. Had a water spiket and electricity on site. The bathrooms and showers were nice. The owner was great. Loved that it was close to Glacier but also close to town for easy access to groceries and gas. Was only going to stay for one night but ended up staying for 5.
We typically avoid private campgrounds. This one though was different. Amazing proximity to the west entrance of Glacier NP (but west side of Glacier NP is basically closed until July 1.) and a 1.5ish hour drive to the East gate and Two Medicine. We have a 25ft camper and the site was more than big enough. The camp sites were very well maintained but still felt like you were out in the woods camping. Good space between sites. Sites have a fire pit(only allow fires in their ring) and we did a water and electric hook up site. Dumping is free or you can pay them to come and dump your tanks on site. There is also a laundry room. We were very impressed.
