Jocko Hollow Campground

With full hookups and reservations available, Jocko Hollow Campground provides RV-friendly camping alongside the Jocko River near Arlee. The small campground features electric, water, and sewer connections, plus amenities like showers, laundry facilities, and a dump station. Some sites accommodate permanent residents, creating a mixed-use atmosphere that may feel different from traditional campgrounds.

River access stands out as the main draw here. Several sites sit directly next to the flowing water, where campers can listen to what one visitor described as a "lovely gurgling creek." The campground maintains flower beds and landscaped grounds, though recent storm damage has left some downed trees that management actively monitors for safety. Highway 93 runs nearby, contributing road noise that some campers notice, particularly at sites closer to the road.

"Trees were down like other reviews stated, they mentioned they had a massive storm," notes Alyessa L., who found staff helpful and accommodating for last-minute arrivals. The location works well for rock collectors, with interesting geological formations in the surrounding area. Campers can explore wooded areas around the property and should note that spring snowmelt can cause river levels to rise in the evenings. For more camping choices in the region, check campsites near Arlee. Book ahead during peak season, as riverside sites fill quickly.

Guests frequently mentioned the scenic riverside location and friendly hosts as highlights. Road noise from nearby Highway 93 is consistently noted, though many found the natural setting and helpful staff made up for it.

Sweet spot by the creek

Old lady was sweet to us, I saw the reviews about her being not so sweet but she was nice and got us in last minute. The gentleman brought us a whole tractor full of wood and was nice as well. Trees were down like other reviews stated, they mentioned they had a massive storm. Not something I feel they should be judged for, they were concerned about my kids and asked them to keep away from the left side because of that.

They accommodated us last mint

This is a cute little camp site. We were right next to the river which was amazing. But some of the sites are for permanent residents, which feels weird. They have a laundry room, showers and bathrooms. Not the cleanest. But do the trick. A little road noisy. But loved the attention to the flowers and the grounds.

Nice folks. Good amenities.

Small camp, has shower, and laundry. I was by a lovely gurgling creek. Only drawback was highway traffic. But convenient from 93.

This campground is nice and small and tucked away so that you can explore the woods and wilderness around it. It is very well kept and a great value for the price.

Be careful camping next to river in spring!

I love camping in this area. The rocks are the most beautiful and rock collectors' dream! Be careful camping next to the rivers as in early spring, waters rise in the evenings and will flood out the lower Plains. It was really exciting to see what the avalanche had done to the forest over the winter.
