We are conveniently located in Theodore, AL just off I-10. Our park offers 160 spaces spread out over approximately 20 acres. It's nestled among 100-year-old hardwoods that provide plenty of shade and foliage. We also have a lake for fishing with a small beach area for swimming. Our park is pet-friendly, however, all pets must be on a leash when outside. The park office includes a small store where you can find some basic necessities from food items to parts for your RV. Some of the park amenities include bathhouses, laundry facilities, propane refilling, ice machine, drink machines and a playground for the kids. Rent for each site includes power, cable TV, water, sewer, and garbage.

Nice small campground. The shower was clean yet dated. Had multiple sites with the lake view. Many of the campsite have campers that are staying the maximum stay. So some of the premium site are occupied by them.
Very nice rv park. All have full hookups including sewer. Lots at gravel and level with plenty of room to park your camper & tow vehicle. Swimming g pool is nice, there is also a large fire pit. We arrived late and we’re offered help setting up since it was getting dark. WiFi is good enough for Roku & Hulu. Fishing dock is right across the street and we were only 25 minutes from Dauphin Island.
Beautiful campground with large spaces. Wildlife is in abundance. Hosts kept us informed of the weather. Close to everything.
This campground has been temporarily closed for 4 years and when I last spoke to the rangers office, there was no schedule for re-opening.
Arrived here today. By the time I got camp set up, the host stopped by welcomed me and said if there are issues to get with them. Very friendly!
Very clean, well kept park. Good space between sites. The only downside I could find was I10 is close enough to be heard. 5 minutes away from battleship park. Plan for a whole day there if you really want to see everything they have to offer. Only an hours drive to the Naval Air Station at Pensacola. Highly recommend the museum there as well as Blue Angels practice viewing.
Stayed here because it was so close, literally a block away, from the Mississippi Colosseum, for granddaughters cheer competition. We checked it and were greeted at arrival, with information packet. FHU, back-in concrete pad, and small dog park. A nice clubhouse and facilities, although we did not use. Directly across the street from the beach, perfect for photos. Clean pool but too cold to use. Very close to neighbors and backed up to apts, which the garbage truck came super early on Sat, dumpster on other side of fence. We were up early, but if you like relaxing and peacefulness, probably not my choice. Close to lots of area attractions, stores and restaurants. Many closed for off season, however. Waffle House next door to RV park. Good for short stay!
We stayed at Deer Creek RV Park after returning from Florida headed back out west and this place is awesome. It is very conveniently located off I-65 and the park is very well kept, bathhouses are immaculate and very large. Has a dog park which our dog loved being off leash and owners are very nice, informative and can also recommend great restaurants around. They also have two other RV sites close to Gulf Shores and OWA in Foley. Highly recommend!
Pitbull friendly they didn’t bay an eye. Great staff super clean place. Friendly people.
We just drove in hoping that there was a suitable site for a 30’ motorhome available. There were 3. The campground is more suitable for tents and small trailers. The cost for a site with electric was $15.00 for a senior. $22.00 normally. Joey, the attendant, was so helpful and very knowledgeable. There is a dump. Will come back.
This place was literally so sketchy we left instead of staying the night here
Great location. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The RV sites are well mark. We will be back to stay
We were on a 12 hour haul coming from FL. I allotted for 30 min of traffic and 30 min to pick up a horse on our way. Neither of those things happened so we ended up being about an hour early. I texted the host when I was 3 hours out letting her know our new arrival time. She said she wasn't available and I'd have to wait. I said I can't wait, I've had horses on the trailer for 12 hours. She said I was not to unload and was to leave them standing on the trailer while I waited for her. I asked for simple instructions on where to put my animals. She refused. This is absolutely unacceptable and animal cruelty. I ended up having to desperately find another place to go for my horses while on the road. She refused to refund my money. I cannot say enough negative things about this place or the woman who runs it.
Campgrounds are beautiful with line forests surrounding the sites. Utilities are primitive but expected for a free campground. Watch where you step! Lots of horse poop.
We stayed here after picking up our new 5th wheel from Dad's Camper outlet. Not even a mile away. I hope this is allowed, Cat Trent and Ricky were great with getting our new 5th wheel ready for us. Check them out for any RV needs. The staff was very nice. The campground was very nice. It is only 4 months old. All the amenities you need and expect from a KOA. The only difference is that it's new and not run down. Pull through sites are level and concrete. As you can see from my pics, it was raining quite hard.
I enjoyed walking around by the water. This is by ocean springs a little town with awesome art!
Passed through one night stay. Convenient to get to off I-10, shady spot and full hook up. Should have used our own shower, but I like to look around......not good. Code to use the shower wasn't necessary because door wasn't shut and locked, shower was NASTY, but they did provide your own personal brillo pad for cleaning.....Wait, that wasn't a brillo pad!......lol. Walked dogs in the morning to have to retreat back to camper due to pit bull running around off leash. Probably won't be back.
Seems newer, close to town but not with all the noise, set far back from the road, clean, really nice pool, great amenities. Reasonably priced. We would visit again
I know there are new owners but when I pulled in there was no one in the office. They had a lot of long term people with some pretty old rigs. Did not like the place at all and I moved on.
The grounds were easy to get in to. Mr John was very accommodating. No issues at all with electric and water connects. Will be back. Everything is conveniently close as for stores and outlet.
This is a great site at a great location. We arrived in the dark but luckily we had the gate code in the email to move in set up our spot. The next morning we were amazed by the beautiful location of it. Highly recommend will definitely come back here
Awesome state park! Plenty of room between spaces which are staggered so you aren’t looking out your door at another trailer. We lucked out and got a waterfront site. Had a great seafood dinner at Felix’s just down the road. Would love to come back for more than just a couple of nights.
Great spot to relax and hangout for a bit. They have a great park here and I highly recommend it.
Absolutely love this place! Very nice and friendly people. The bayou is one of the best places around to catch the beautiful sunsets
Stopped here for 1 night between Lake Charles and Tallahassee. Great half way stop. Federal National Seashore campground. Make reservations on recreation.gov. Very nice campground hosts pulled up in their golf cart while they were making rounds around the campground and checked us in. Clean, level parking. I was in spot 1 which was well shaded. Stores within 5-10 minute drive. Will definitely stay here again.
Nice big spots. Beautiful views.
Stay every time we are in the area. Love everything about it. So friendly
