Nice famcamp!

Large full hook up sites, nice laundry facility and restrooms, and the office staff was very professional and accomodating for our last minute reservations. There are two parts to the camgroud, one of which is by a lake. There is a bit of road noise, sirens from ambulances heading to a nearby hospital, and nearby train tracks, but overall, a very nice famcamp..

2 parks 2 different feels

Lived in the front park for 6 months. Busy with outside traffic and trains. Park in the back of base is newer and nicer. 20x40 level concrete pads. Secluded from the rest of base. Little fishing pods and trails from old golf course. Bath house with 4 separate rooms with toilets and showers. Washer and dryer. Near giant voice speaker so you won’t sleep in past 8am any day and you’ll hear any emergency. Only way out is tricky during pt hours in the morning with all the runners. Large dog park a short walk away.

Cheap

On base cable is free after 100$ deposit for box. It sometimes works front part is on the fence line you hear trains and traffic at all hours. Like most MWR things it has gone down hill in the last few years. Sites run 15$ a night.
