Tucked between Green River Lake and Lake Cumberland, the community of Columbia serves as a gateway to all of the great fishing and watersports in south-central Kentucky. Located just off the Cumberland Parkway, Columbia is a convenient stop and an ideal location for those seeking a peaceful…

Nice campground, most spots are great. Bathrooms not so much.
I have camped at this site several times. Ear plugs are a must as it is in the direct flight path of a major airport. My boyfriend had a Fitbit and was able to spot how many times an airplane flew over our tent in the evening/early morning hours. It must be a UPS hub or FedEx as the planes were…

This is a nice quiet campground. I have taken my daughters here a few times. Swimming and tubing in the lake or even taking the pontoon boat out for a gathering on the island.
The campground is very clean and the camp hosts are amazing. Facilities are nice, showers and bathrooms. Close to town…

Awesome campground in the city and one of my favorites!
We were passing through on our way north. Chances a reservation here, as KOAs are hit or miss. We had our 16 yo grand daughter with us, and she actually had fun. Very well kept and the staff is great.
We live here full time love the camp site an the people who run the place an live here as well
This is a great campsite and it very well spaced and provides excellent scenery and there is plenty to do. Only issue we have come across was that the electric service on our site kept tripping the breaker. Only running ac and a CPAP machine and the breaker would not hold......very disappointing…
Staff as always been very friendly, sites are very spacious, there are trails for hiking, a playground and a beach. Only negatives are no showers and not much shade unless you get a site on the edge of the woods
I've camped here around 10 times. The location to trails, access to water, latrines, secured gate access are all nice. It's about 10 minutes to a nearby gas station but you'd never know it.
The issues and why I no longer go here. The large group sites are peppered throughout the family sites so…
Had a peaceful couple nights at Site 5.
We spent two nights at this campground and really enjoyed it.
When we arrived, we were met by the lady working the registration desk and check in was very easy.
Temperature had been below freezing for several days so water was off at the sites but they had a hose to fill tanks at…
This is a hidden little gem in the bustle of Louisville. We visited in the off season and during COVID. But the staff were friendly, grounds were clean, sites are very close together. We were happy to spend the night and know we were safe and tucked in. Our son loved the jump pillow, I gave it a…
This is a super cute campground. Easily accessible and very clean sites! There is a small barn with animals penned up so you can just walk up to the fence and pet them. My wife and daughter loved that! Great little dog park with a mini obstacle course. We had a great little trip here and would…
This place could do no wrong (we all remember our first time, right?). The staff were very kind and helpful. Propane filling is not intuitive. Very pretty campground.
