Convenient stop

Looking for an overnight stay on a long road trip. Park is close to highway, fairly empty on a Monday night. Easy pull through site close to lake. Quiet. Bathhouse nothing fancy, could have been cleaner. Easy access to dump station. Staff very friendly.

Expensive for what it is

Now I know this is a resort and everyone will have a different opinion. I’ve been to some great resorts that I will definitely be going back to but unfortunately this will not be one of them. There are many updates that need to be done. The spot that we started at was close to other campers and did…

Peaceful camping

My family stayed in our popup last September and it was great. Friendly staff, nice clean bathroom and showers. Spot on beautiful pond. It was great to be able to fish from our site. Close to geode hunting locations!! Quiet. There is also a restaurant on site. We did not go but there were always…

Great Campground with Lots to Do

There are two camp grounds with a range from rustic to full hookups. 3 lakes for boating, paddling, fishing, or just a scenic hike. Staff is friendly and the place is clean.

Great park and friendly host

Tony and his wife are the camp hosts. Tony was so helpful and nice. The camp sites are spacious and clean.

Convenient spot for a quick stop

Currently this is an RV only campground due to Covid restrictions, but there is ample space for tent camping when they return to allowing tents. So, RV sites include pull through and back in with water and electric hookups, and a dump station on site. There is a nice bathhouse and super clean…

Good enough for an overnight

No frills camping on the edge of the fairgrounds, there are campsites mostly for RV’s (full hook ups- 50 amp and 30 amp, and sites with sewer), and space for tents on the margins (might be why tent “sites” are free). The bathhouse was locked when I passed through, and no one was camping here, but…

Nice

Pulled in 4/12, smaller campground, very few people here this time of year. Owners live right off the property so very convenient. Very nice owner Helen, came by the site to check us in. Right off a small county hwy, but not too noisy. Very quiet and relaxed place. No picnic talk or fire pit. They…

Constant Returner

I’ve been going to this campground since I was a child, it’s one of my favorite places to camp. A popular place, during the summer it’s always full and kids running around, people walking and running and riding bikes, walking dogs. Great trails too, ranging from half a mile to 3 miles. Nice lakes,…

Cool little camp spot

We stayed here one night. We had a concrete pad for our RV which was nice and a decent amount of room to roam.

Pricy but great fun

I found the camping area to be tight but what a fun place to be. Being after Labor Day the water par was closed, but looked like fun. Mini golf was booming. They had nice pavilion areas for gatherings. There was also a large swimming pool. Several of the sites were for seasonal but were very well…

Large campground area

I felt like we were in the deep woods. Not much grassy areas. Electric sites only. I felt there were not enough Shower houses or toilets for amount of camping spaces. Now for the great things about this camping are. Camping spots divided into three areas. Puma, Coyote and Badger. The Badger area…

It’s okay

Stayed off Boulder lake and near very wooded area. The lot itself is good but your neighbor was close. There were lots of frogs and mosquitos near the lake in which get very close to your site and public area. Grounds around site were not very grassy mostly muddy or with rocks. Bathrooms and…

Nice and clean

The concrete slab was large enough for our camper and rug along with the picnic table! A lot of room! The BBQ was nice and the fire pit had a built on grill as well. Our pad was close to the lake so a two minute walk and we’re fishing!
