Nice small CG just above the lake

We have a 36 ft Class A with a Cherokee Trailhawk tow and stayed in site 33 for just 1 night in late June. This is a relatively small CG, 33 sites, and there were only a handful or so of sites available when we arrived on a Friday afternoon and they do not accept reservations. The showers were clean and hot. The electric and water hookups on some sites, at least ours, was at the back and on the wrong side. Our electric cord just reached the post. AT&T coverage varied, with 1-2 Bars of LTE service and speeds between 0.4 and 3.5 MB/s. We had a clear view of the southern and northern sky, so we were able to get DISH coverage on all three western satellites at our site and Starlink had speed up to 12 MB/s.

Quiet, tree covered and spacious

Real nice campground with bathrooms and showers. Only $5 to tent camp here! Great view of the lake and easy to hike trails. Only downside is that the mosquitoes will eat you alive!

Quiet City Campground

Stayed here on Dec. 8, 2021. It was clean and well organized. It was a little difficult finding the pay box at the Southern Campground but I got there just after dark. The box was located next to the playground at the end of the loop of campsites. Overall, a nice place to spend the evening, would definitely stay again.

Good place to stop

South loop was crowded, but few people in the north loop in October. Bathrooms weren’t the cleanest, but flushing toilets and showers available. Paid $15 for full service spot. Cash only payment.

Great time

Had an excellent time, good views of the lake and not many people. Campsites were decent and the shower/toilet facilities too.

Quiet

Lots to do here in the middle of nowhere! It's a county park, so you have basketball courts, soccer field, disc golf course, and a beautiful reservoir. Showers and restrooms. Electric at sites

Beautifully kept municipal campground

I stayed here for one night in a tent. There were some locals having a birthday party at the gazebo. They were friendly and told me that the attendant had left for the day. So resorted to leave the fee in a mailbox near the official's RV. The campground is right above a lovely, which I rode around on my bicycle in about thirty minutes. The showers are quite nice, with hot water and no additional cost. I would definitely stay here again.
