  This is our second stay here since new ownership. First trip was June 2022 and October 2922.  Both trips we had an awesome time. Just in a few months this place has made some very nice improvements and still has amazing views surrounding the camp ground. After staying a few places in the area over this past summer, Trinity View Resort for us is our top pic and will be spending a lot more time here in the future. Both trips we had our E-Bikes and took some amazing rides through the valleys and mountains and still haven't explored all the areas available here. 

   Cell service is good here. We have Verizon hot spot that worked perfectly and AT&T cell phones have good signal as well,

   There are different options for all kinds of campers from, Full hook ups ( Big rig friendly) to tent camping. On site RV rentals and cabins are also available.

  Lots of fun stuff to do here for the whole family or even groups. 

   The people here are friendly and respectful to other campers as well as super friendly staff and owners. Very friendly to work with and communication with changes if need depending availability. 

   This resort is well on its way to be one of the best camp resorts in this area. Well worth the trip for sure.

  North Fork Campground - Sawtooth National Forest

  Peace in the Aspens

   Right off Hwy 75 in the Sawtooth National Forest is this nice campground within a grove of aspens. The road through the campground is gravel and the sites are gravel and dirt. It was quite dusty when we went but the trees were starting to change color which was nice and you can hear the wind shaking the aspen leaves so it made of a relaxing vibe here.

  $18/ night, $10 firewood (fire restrictions in effect).  Sites are reservable on recreation.gov.

   Hiking/biking trails nearby and this campground also sits along the Big Wood River. There were garbage dumpsters and pit toilet bathrooms and water spigots throughout. 

  Each site had mostly level parking spots with picnic tables and fire pits. Each site was fairly private and offered nice amount of shade. There were plenty of sites open and there are some pull throughs for bigger rigs. 

  Good for RVs, vans or tents.

  Zero cell reception from ATT, Verizon or TMoblie

  The Wagon Wheel

  Small grounds with peaceful atmosphere

  These grounds are truly tiny. There are several spaces occupied by long term residents and others have visitors like us who are just passing through. The grounds themselves are well-kept with lots of mature trees around the sites providing shade and large shrubs and fences ensuring privacy from the outside.

  The park has easy entry on N 18th, the park roads are quite wide and navigable and there’s an exit gate just on the other side. While the park accommodates large trailers, I believe all spots are back-in and there’s a couple tricky areas that would be best suited for small trailers. For $40, the price is reasonable for a level pad and full hookups. It’s very quiet, situated off the main road across from a cemetery and a funeral home. It’s a really great option if you want to pay a bit less than the large park down the street and be around far fewer other RVers!

  Banbury Hot Springs Campground - Temporarily Closed

  Relaxing

  Midweek RV stay in April was quiet and relaxing. Not all stalls are RV friendly, my friend had to move due to her trailer would not level. Park hosts extremely nice to work with. Dog friendly park. Pool is older but the water was toasty warm to soak in especially in cold weather. Changing room was clean. I will be back as I noticed there is a dock to go kayaking.

  Mountain Home RV Park

  Mountain Home is a great place to stay

  Mountain Home RV Resort is a picturesque park with over 280 spots split between a more established shaded spots and newer less shaded area. There are many long term residents yet given the number of available spots this does not present a problem. Shower and laundry facilities are plentiful and clean. There is no charge to use the shower and the cost of washers and driers is nominal. I would defiantly stay here again.

  Smiley Creek Lodge

  Good spot in the sawtooths

  This is a good option between Ketchum and Stanley to go explore the sawtooth mountains. It’s a little bit of everything, lodge, yurts, cabins, rv spots, gas station, restaurant. RV spots were reasonable level. Bathrooms were clean. They had horseshoes and bean bags in a common area. No picnic tables or fire pits though. RV spots were pretty wide, which was nice

  One tip, avoid spot number #17 if possible. The sewer hookup was loose and shared with a long term resident on the other side, also the water spigot was broken so we had to use the spigot for spot #16. #17 is not terrible, but other spots are much better.

  Murdock Creek Dispersed

  Remote and close to everything

  We took a chance and scouted a right before the 4th of July weekend and we scored big time. Site #1. Because of the view, we pulled our 30ft class A in instead of backing. We had long range, multi tiered views of the Sawtooth Mtn. The sites are generously spaced with picnic table and fire ring. There is a camp host and firewood is available at their site.. Water is available at the dump station located on the left before you arrive. It services all area NF service campgrounds as well as paid for others not. We had good ATT service 2 and 3 bars. Most of the sites have some shade. There are other disbursed campsites on the main FS road, but we were not disturbed by cars. It is super quiet at night. The night was cool. Lots of hiking , mountain biking and fishing in the immediate area. Ketchum and Sun Valley are 15 min away. The rails to trails multi purpose trail starts just down the road. Super safe place to ride. 30 + miles . We don't want to leave.

  Three Island Crossing State Park Campground

  Nice campground near the river with several things to keep you busy.

  We really liked this campground! First, the sites are nicely paved and level, and have full hookups which make an extended stay really nice. There is a picnic table and fire ring for having an enjoyable outdoor experience. there is a huge grass open area adjacent to the site which is nice for outdoor sports.

  There is a hiking trail at the edge of the campground which takes you to a nearby winery for a flight of wine and some good food. Very nice for the adults! There is also a path that takes you to a park down at the river which is nice for the kids, and our boys loved the disc golf course. It is huge with 18 holes, but the front 9 are the best, as the back nine have a lot of cheat grass and bushes to lose your disc in.

  Nearby there is also a museum about the Oregon trail and how the Three Island Crossing area was used by the settlers... Very interesting place!

  Overall we had a great Memorial Day long Weekend.

  Mountain Home RV Park

  Full service and full comfort

  UPDATED 2021: This place continues to provide excellent service and clean, spacious sites. Propane is a reasonable price ($2.70/gal as of 3/21). One awesome discovery I made this time around was a trailhead that starts behind Walmart and extends for about 2.5 miles towards Legacy Park. If you’re a runner or walker... give it a shot!

  Everything about this RV Park is well-planned and fluid. From the arrival greeting to the spaces themselves, the facilities and the landscaping... it’s all warm and welcoming. They take great care of this park. The spaces are level, the grass between spots is large and manicured, and all the facilities are clean. We didn’t use the restrooms or showers but were told they’re in excellent condition. The sites are very easy to access and the picnic benches are spotless... which is borderline weird. There is a dog run, heated pool and spa, laundry, tetherball and more. Mountain Home RV Park is about 1 hour from Twin Falls and 45 min from Boise. In between both cities are tons of opportunity for outdoor adventure. Less than a mile from you RV spot is a Walmart and a Pilot station. They have propane refilling on site at the park. We would have stayed here for a month if we had the time. We will definitely return.
