Closed gate

We tried to stay at this place but we arrived at 11 pm and there was a closed gate. We had to turn around. Quite a commercial district as well

Barebones but adequate

This is a county fairgrounds the camping is simply in the parking lot with electrical and water hook ups for many sites. You will want to check the calendar of events to evaluate availability. For example: the first night we were here we were lucky to get a site because there was an event and the parking lot was nearly full. This makes a great one night stop or homebase for sightseeing in the area.

Just what I needed...

If you are looking for peace and quiet and clean this is the place. None of the fancy amenities, but impeccably kept grounds. My dog loved the grass, he was rolling in it and running through sprinklers on hot evening. Convince store within walking distance. And yes a great sunset from the bleachers!
