If you are looking for a peaceful and quiet place our Ranch is what you need. Bring your rv or tend, or stay in one of our rvs! We are located in a rural area of Groveland. We love camping, so we decided to have our own “campground” in our 50 acres property and share it with people who share our passion! Rural doesn’t have to mean far of everything. It’s true that we have no neighbors around but we are not away from everything: we are very close to Disney (around 30 minutes) and less than 10 minutes from grocery stores and restaurants. Feel free to fish in our private 15 acres pond! Wildlife can be seen everywhere! Cranes, deers, wild turkeys, hogs and more can be easily spotted. If you love nature and wildlife, you gonna love this place!

One is a clean comfortable 20’ Holiday Rambler. AC/Heat, electric hot water, shower, kitchen, flush toilet, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, etc sleeps two on sofa bed and there is a fold out cot for third guest

The second rental is a cozy slide in with electric hot water, AC/heat, shower and flush toilet, microwave, refrigerator, sleeps 2 in the bunk and table drops down to give sleeping for two more

both drive in/camp in spots have 20 amp electric and filtered well water for campers to use

there is a porta potty for tent campers and an outdoor sink and bench to clean gear, rinse off, cool off

Clean safe environment with a 24 hour Circle K within short walking distance and a full grocery Dollar General across the street from the Circle K There is a local eatery just up the street and serves pretty good breakfast

The property was once a small commercial freight depot along the Eastern Seaboard Railway Line All that remains of the train depot is the crumbling loading dock support wall and endless amounts of train and railroad track artifacts Bring your metal detector you wont leave empty handed

Lots of history in the area and plenty to see and do. Fishing gear, hiking gear, tents, sleeping bags and other gear for rent as well.

Old Train Depot 

Idlewild was founded in 1992 by William T Davis as a fish camp for those who knew how many bass are swimming and living in the spring-fed waters of Lake Panasoffkee. It’s built on 3 acres with 10 cabins, 10 RV pads. While small, it is not short on amenities. Positioned as a boutique lodge, large groups may find it ideal to host private events. Families will find the amenities to be entertaining while also serving as a unique, but truly “Floridian,” nature experience. Located on the western perimeter of Lake Panasoffkee, Idlewild sits across a 9,911 acre state park preserving Lake Panasoffkee's vast floodplain forest, natural springs, pine flat-woods, freshwater marshes and oak scrub forest.
