Road to get up the campsite is rough. I made it up in a jeep Rubicon using only RWD. Toad is covered with small sharp rocks and may need at least 8 inches of clearance. No Verizon service available. This site is close to the road so you may hear cars every now and then but the road is not busy.
It is a no thrills,Quiet, peaceful, full hook-ups kind of park.little expensive but one cost covers everything.plus it is a all season park.
Currently closed, as of when we checked on Sept. 25, 2022
Campsite is on a first come basis which is nice since most places nearby are booked way in advance. Only $25 a day which includes full hook up. They have a dumpsite which is included in your fee. This is in the fairgrounds so a lot of events during the weekend. Stores, restaurants and movies all…
The camp ground hosts are amazing! The camp ground is clean and very well taken care of! It's quiet and very peaceful! Cell service for Verizon is good!
This campground is very close to the Denver / Boulder area so it is easy to get to for me. The kids enjoyed camping here. There are most of the basics and the restrooms are clean. The only negative I have to say is that it is closer to home and the city than I prefer to be but other than that it…
I loved the night I spent here! I stayed in one of the first 5 sites I saw, and only maybe 20 feet away was an amazing view of the mountains.
It's about 50 minutes from Boulder, and you lose service about 40 minutes out, so it's great if you plan on staying for a least a couple days. I had no…
This campground is beautiful and low traffic during the weeks
We came up the weekend after Labor Day to avoid the massive crowds and it was a success! Definitely a busy dispersed camping road but it’s a great place if you’re okay with people in your line of sight. The beginning of the road is definitely more busy; I recommend driving farther back. Definitely…

This is a very nice campground. There are a lot of trees around but avoid sites 1-14 since there is not much shade. Bathrooms were very clean. There a few lakes around bad the river where you can fish. Camping in September was a bit cold at night. Recommend to be prepare for the cold. There is a…

This was a great campground. No amenities. Plenty of room to spread out on every site. The creek is orange and smells like rust but that is really my only complaint. There is some traffic on the front campsites but it’s not much of an issue with all the room. #27 has to be one of the nicest camps…
Site is beautiful
Nice park close to the lake
We stayed 3 nights. The camp ground was very clean. All the facilities were clean and well kept. We stayed in spot A12. Had water and 30amp hook ups. The views were beautiful. We’ll definitely be back!
This is one of my favorite spots. It does seem very popular on the weekends but slower during the week. A lot of quads having fun out there too. Not only are the Mountain View’s stunning, but we also saw Bald Eagles and a moose.
