Lots of shade but missing some essentials.

Pros. Lots of canopy/shade. Stream runs through the campsite. No cell service. Quiet.

Cons. Outhouse toilet. No running water. No campfires allowed. Bear in the area. No cell service for miles.

  • Lots of room for a camper.
  • Bring lights. It gets dark! No campfires allowed!
  • Stream in the campgrounds.

Close Easy and Clean!

We love going to lake cachuma! It’s most fun early spring when it’s not too hot since you can’t swim in the lake but boat rentals are cheap and fun. Bathrooms and showers are always very clean! Weekdays are best as I hear weekends can be crazy

Family Oriented Place

From zipline obstacle courses to tie dye classes, this KOA easily occupies kids and has teepee and cabin rentals available for glampers, but nice showers, clean bathrooms and a roomy pool area really make this campground 5 stars.

Best Annual Trips

My family has been camping here for 50+ years... should say enough! Best camping trip (with family, friends, solo, whatever!) you’ll have, safe area, very accessible. Bathrooms have power outlets, token-powered hot showers, and super close to town. Make sure you pack your food away at night....…

Close get away from the city

We just camped at Lake Casita Recreational grounds this month. There are several campsites in the area. Each campsites have different features, basic campsites have water available and vaulted toilets, and some sites have hookups for RV. The recreational grounds have picnic areas/tables and…

Amazing Experience

One of the first places I’ve visited during the pandemic. I loved taking my dog and going on some of the dog friendly hikes. Very clean campground and has amazing views for the sunset (hence the name).

We love Ocean Mesa! From check in to poolside, the staff is always on top of it. This campground is pristine. You can tell how much the staff cares for their grounds and customers. We had so much fun that we want to make it an annual tradition. Can’t wait to come back here!

Such a Pleasant Surprise

I stayed at Kenney Grove Park on my way from Vegas to Santa Barbara, and again on my way back. I believe it was $23 for a dry camping spot, plus another $2/night for having my dog along. It was a lovely, quiet park that I was surprised to find tucked away in Fillmore. On the Saturday night that I…

Too small

The campsites are too close together. Beach access is across the hwy and not the safest to get too.

Parking lot camping

The campground is just a parking lot. But, for $40 a night it is in a great location to start your water sport take off. I used the nearby ramp to launch my SUP and paddle around the marina/s.

Straightforward RV Parking Lot

Great spot right by the harbor. No hookups, just large spaces in a designated parking area for RV's. $40/Night to park. Road is a little busy next to the parking lot but location and weather make up for the noise. Well patrolled by local law enforcement.

Fun Summer Respite

Visited this place several times and each time was a fun and relaxing experience. The place provided wonderful views of the lake, ample grounds for recreation and facilities were clean and well kept. Went there with family and friends several times and will actually visit again this September.

3rd trip and still rockin it

Absolutely love this place. Quick turn around trip. Camp host was friendly and helpful. Camps sites and nature trail are in good shape. The wifey is still not to found of dry camping with out wifi but ended up loving the peace and quite with the sounds of the creek. Kids had a blast.
