It's a very nice place. It's small and have 4 showers and about 6 flushable toilets. To shower It's by coins and each coin is 2mins. I was there labor day weekend and was full and windy but great and quiet no issues at all.
Camp host very helpful and knowledgeable
Clean areas. We were placed away from all the tent campers. Staff was friendly and helpful. Tighter spots for anything over 25ft. ONLY AT&T works. Wifi is $9/day for one device. No antenna channels found from our spot.
Military campground..near small beach...beach break. Isolated..Clean...Quite

Came here expecting to have camping fun on the lake — no such luck. Swimming only allowed at their “swimming beach” and only while life guard on duty. And to use my inflatable kayak, I have to use their boat launch and pay a $9.00 fee. Honestly, I’m so miffed at this no fun allowed rent begging…
I feel lake Casitas is nice for those wanting to get a nice easy day of camping. It's friendly and not too small.
Loved our first outing here. It was a busy weekend but our Sunday night stay was a lot better with the weekenders heading back home. Site 557 was a quick walk to the lake, bathrooms and close to water spickets for washing up.
The weather was in the 50s over night and 90s during the day. We were…
We decided to hit the road last minute and ended up at Emma wood beach checked in with the ranger and lucky enough (bluffer zone #69) was available comes with a little downside which is that the water can spills over the wall and splashes you a little here and there. But other than that we love…
We love going to lake cachuma! It’s most fun early spring when it’s not too hot since you can’t swim in the lake but boat rentals are cheap and fun. Bathrooms and showers are always very clean! Weekdays are best as I hear weekends can be crazy
We just camped at Lake Casita Recreational grounds this month. There are several campsites in the area. Each campsites have different features, basic campsites have water available and vaulted toilets, and some sites have hookups for RV. The recreational grounds have picnic areas/tables and…

The drive up to the campsite and view from any location in the park is gorgeous. There’s lot of families and big groups around - so great for big groups but not if you’re looking for peace and quiet. The gate to enter does close at 10 though you can always leave and all the amenities were well…

The campsites are too close together. Beach access is across the hwy and not the safest to get too.
The campground is just a parking lot. But, for $40 a night it is in a great location to start your water sport take off. I used the nearby ramp to launch my SUP and paddle around the marina/s.
Great spot right by the harbor. No hookups, just large spaces in a designated parking area for RV's. $40/Night to park. Road is a little busy next to the parking lot but location and weather make up for the noise. Well patrolled by local law enforcement.
