Great first RV spot

This was a great spot for a first timer! The staff were friendly and helpful, access was easy from 101, and the campground was well maintained and incredibly clean. The bathrooms were some of the best I’ve seen at a campground.

Orchard Hill Loop

Giving this campground 4 stars instead of 5 because the some of the sites are very close to each other. Our site (31) was separated from the one next to us by a fence. Luckily, we never got neighbors but they would have been VERY close. Also, the showers take tokens which are inconvenient to go buy…

Winter Rains

The camp sites were gravel on dirt, which became muddy with large puddles in the December rains. They are simple back-ins with water and electricity and no physical barriers demarcating one site from the next aside from the small concrete utilities pad. The staff were super friendly, and they…

DONT DO YOUR LAUNDRY THERE

Candlestick RV Park is expensive, extremely narrow - obviously people don't go there for the view or the nice camping experience but because it's closest to SF - so go there if you want to explore the beautiful city: Metro is 15 Min. walk an takes you downtown. But please don't do your laundry…

An excellent place to camp that's just minutes away from San Francisco. Trails are well kept and maintained.

A fantastic KOA

I have stayed here several times and always have a great experience. Large park with a variety of sites. Great pool and tons of stuff to keep the kids occupied. Staff has always been friendly and accommodating.

Craggy Meadow Urban Hideout

Let's just call a spade a spade here, alright? This campground isn't going to be one that you look back at and fondly recollect a surreal experience in the middle of nature with all of the rustic touches one might come to expect when camping in NorCal. And while the Redwoods and Sequoias will steal…

Truly special little site

Hiking in from the falls site at sunset will reward you with the most spectacular sunset views!! It’s easier to hike in from the Bear Valley side though and then you can always do a little evening hike along the ridge too. Love camping so close to the beach and the campsites have some privacy from…

So so

Sites are not leveled, most do not have sewer hook up, 68$ a night, space is very small. I don’t know why this park gets high stars on review.

Great camp for the kids

This KOA is pretty big with plenty of options for RV sites. Wide variety of full hook-ups or partial hook-ups. Like most (if not all) KOAs, you can also tent camp or tent cabins. Good size dog park for the pets to run and be free, as well as plenty of fun activities to entertain the kiddos. For us,…

Very quiet during the week

Camp Wednesday to Friday was very quiet and peaceful, beautiful hikes along streams and lots of chipmunks and other wildlife in the campground. I'm in a wheelchair and had no problem getting around the campsite. There's also a great bike path that goes for several miles. Sites are a little closer…

Nice shady retreat in beautiful redwoods.

We have previously tent camped and car camped here and we really enjoy it. It can get warm in the summer, but the cool moist ocean fog comes in and blankets the area in the evenings, which can really cool it down. On our first visit, there was no running water or showers, but they did have…

Good stop along the coast

My site had plenty of shade, fire pit, picnic table, and water nearby. The RV area seemed a little busy but they have a seperate area for tents only that was pretty empty (my jeep is converted so they counted that as a tent). A 20 minute drive gets you to Limantour Beach, tons of sand and when I…

Our go to spot near the coast.

Olema is our go to spot. Every year with and without grandkids. Clean and friendly staff. The store has the necessities. The kids love the playground and try their hand at shuffleboard. Close to multiple beaches.
